SAP CPQ
Chose SAP CPQ
I m not aware of other tools. we straight selected SAP CPQ. because our entire ecosystem is sap. after selecting we never look for other options. it either this or custom coding for a pricing engine
Chose SAP CPQ
It connect much better with our existing SAP system like ERP and S/4HANA. keeping everything in sync automatically.
Approval processes and automation are faster. reducing email and manual work.
Chose SAP CPQ
We did not consider other options as we were very keen to reduce integrations between different systems, and moving data from one environment to another. Plus having to train users on a brand new system was not desired. This way, it is all under the same, well known, SAP roof.

best suited,, if we already have SAP tools, SAP CPQ place huge role and very easier to integrate with other SAP Tools. Since price was decided by Automate Rules. no need to calculate them manually, reduce dependency on Sales team, it can able to handle larger items and complex rules

Likelihood to Renew

We definitely want to renew based on the functionality and the use we give to it. However you never know 100% so that's why it is not a 10. Let's imagine if pricing changed significantly or they made sudden changes to the product which we considered negative... Then we would move elsewhere. This is highly unlikely though
