Sinch vs. SlickText

Sinch is well suited if you believe communication is the solution to 99% of problems in this world. Lack of communication builds issues that can easily be avoided with clear and transparent communication. Emails/ in-app notifications, the not immediate and always causes a delay since it depends on the user's internet connection. On the other hand, SMS is a service, which reaches every individual immediately and without fail. Therefore, Sinch shall be utilised by every company to make sure immediate communication is enabled.

Very well suited for those getting started with SMS campaigns. It was easy for everyone on our team to pick up and get going without a lot of training. If you have mobile number lists in the hundreds of thousands I can see how it would be tough to manage with the lists, keywords, etc. I could be wrong as we are not in that space but that would be my assumption.

• User friendly interface
• A good resource for making sure we maintain compliance with all the privacy policies
• The text-to-join feature looks awesome. That is the one we are hoping to get started soon.

• Improved UI for easier navigation to the owned short codes and status of their certification.
• List of carrier requirements for certification (i.e. keywords).
• Language and character do's and don't's for specific routes.

• Easy to find resources for short codes
• The current automation is nice for beginners but it's not terribly sophisticated for experienced users
• Minimal integrations to this point but I'm sure more are on the way

Very easy to use. Intuitive website that our entire team has been able to quickly pick up. In my opinion it is the most user friendly interface of all the software we did demos with.

mBlox compares in SLA and QoS to other top tier aggregators. We interconnect with several vendors who provide wholesale enterprise level SMS and MMS services like mBlox, and they all compare around the same. Quality of service is key, and we've found them to be no greater, and no worse than their competitors.

We felt SlickText was the most user friendly, budget friendly, and we liked the fact that they didn't balk at the fact we wanted to go month to month to start so we didn't end up in a long term commitment right out of the gate.

• We are receiving a click through rate anywhere between 12-20% on our renewal reminder texts
• Those people who click have a conversion rate of around 50% which is the best of any of the campaigns we run
• One negative could be if we start to use the tool for promotional texts then there may be a negative impact on the member experience. Need to use it in moderation
