SkyPrep LMS vs. Spekit

SkyPrep LMS is well-suited to organizations that do not currently utilize an LMS. The support provided from step one through implementation is excellent. SkyPrep LMS not only wants to help make an organization run more efficiently when it comes to upskilling employees and/or clients, they also want to learn from the needs of organizations in order to better serve all of their clients.

Good situation: when you have way too many tools hosting content, Spekit is great at bringing everything together so I don't need to remember where things are hosted. I just need to know ish how to search. Bad: I feel like it still doesn't help people discover content nearly as much. The nice thing about a Confluence or other systems like that is that there are resources right in front of you, VS having to know what to search for. Also, I hate the extension, stop cluttering up Gmail.

• Many of the features in the newly released "Studio" are difficult to understand
• It would be great if I had more control of what data my dashboard contained
• Need to streamline their email delivery system and offer fewer but richer features.

• Wish it was easier to insert hyperlinks.
• Wish changes could be made once and duplicated to related pages.
• Would be nice to rearrange Speks on a user level.
• Do not seem to be able to share specific Speks.

I say 9 instead of 10 not because of any lack of confidence in SkyPrep but only because I can't be sure how large or responsive my market -- male-friendly social workers and other helping professionals -- will be to my offerings.

Compared to all competitors, when I was vetting and choosing an LMS system, SkyPrep LMS had the biggest ROI potential, all the features we identified as needs, and it was the best overall experience in talking with a company.

Spekit is fine, I just feel like it doesn't have the world's best upfront organizational tool. I like Atlassian Confluence due to the ability to have pages and have an organized thought. That does take significantly more effort to keep it organized and up to date which everyone doesn't really want to have. On the flip side, Spekit does have a great search tool, which is a lot like other enterprise search tools, this one just happens to be used by the sales team. Overall, I'm a fan, except for their chrome extension - stop invading my space.

• The system has allowed for training in multiple international locations without the need to actually travel and conduct in-person training. This has allowed us to open multiple travel destinations and conduct humanitarian missions in a much tighter timeframe as opposed to in-person training class timelines.
• Travel restrictions due to COVID-19 have made SkyPrep an integral part of our department.

• I've only been in my position for a brief while, so I'm not sure yet.
• I know it's helped longer tenured members of my team do very well!
