SlickPie provided an automated data entry tool that let people use their phone cameras to convert the information from receipts and bill to digital data. It also enabled users to set up recurring invoices to…

vCita is a marketing-focused CRM for service providers. According to the vendor, the product helps service providers move clients through every stage of the sales cycle: from the first point of contact to closing, upselling and follow-up. vCita is a lightweight CRM with the following features: - Manage appointments, payments, and clients - Access info & respond to clients on the go with a mobile app - Invite clients to…
It is easier to use and it is free for freelancers or small organizations. It is the best application to start and those who don't want to invest money in handling accounting and printings things. it supports mobile platforms like android and iPhone, clouds and saas so it helps …
Before shifting to SlickPie I was using QBO, so I guess I'll list it as a competitor. However, since SlickPie offers me 80-90% of QBO's features for free I can't really say QBO is a relevant contender.
I chose Thryv not just because the price was budget-friendly but because of the ease of use and ability to learn how to leverage the platform to meet my business's growing needs.
I realized Thryv could help me BUILD a customer list and that is what it will really make my website work. I am counting on Thryv to help me get to where I am going which is a money-making plus-size clothing website by using all of its features. Thryv is not a quick fix it is …
Thryv is much more robust in what it can do. It is so robust that I learn something new it can do, or it offers almost every day. There are things that the others I tried did that Thryv does not, and things that the others do better, but when push comes to shove I went with the …
vCita has been very responsive to our needs and desires for improvement in certain areas. We have appreciated the level of support we receive when a problem arises. Our biggest gain when moving was the reliability of this product's teleconferencing integration with Zoom. …
I think only Acuity Scheduling rivals vCita. One weak point for vCita is that the others have a better link for reviews on social media and beyond than vCita.
vCita is a platform which is still developing and falls short of dedicated CRM platforms in some ways however it shines where it counts for any business wanting to provide more power to their customer to make bookings and manage their profile. Other platforms such as Insightly …
We were satisfied with TimeTrade and probably wouldn't have made the switch if we were able to integrate with our new Duda website as well as vCita does. They do not offer as many features as vCita, but for scheduling only, they work well and are very affordably priced.
It is super easy to learn and use. I have used more than 2years for my freelancing activity and it was a good choice at the start. some time server does not respond correctly while printing my documents. so I think there is some room to improve. overall it is a good application and saved a lot of my time.
Thryv is not for everyone! It all depends on the needs of the individual's business. If they are wanting to scale back on the number of tools they have to use and pay for, to accomplish their business needs and those tools include a scheduler, Social Media planning/posting tool, an email marketing tool, etc. then Thryv could be for them! If they are looking for a tool to automate some of the communications with their clients, Thryv could be a fit there, too! BUT if they are a small business, solopreneur, and need to start with the entry package BEWARE! The Premium package doesn't have the basic things that the more expensive packages do. One is a customized email signature so you can have you logo, picture, etc. in your email signature. This wasn't offered at all a year ago. I asked for it to be added. Evidently others did too because this week I got an email that they had added it BUT NOT for the Premium Package. Something that is basic that EVERYONE should have access to BUT you have to pay more! It didn't make me feel like a valued customer that's for sure.
It makes client communication extremely easy - we can message and schedule online appointments. Clients really like those options. We also like the online payment portal. That way clients can pay at their convenience, and we don't end up with credit card information that requires PCI compliance. It also helps with payments. It would also help with invoicing, but unfortunately, there are only 3 linked payment options (Square, Stripe, and PayPal). If you don't use one of those payment processors, you cannot link to billing.
Very easy implementation of a contact/scheduling widget.
Allows for scheduling of appointments with clients. The setup is easy and the allotted times can be changed as needed. Easy for the client to use as well.
Managing communication between individual clients is easy as well.
It saved me and me lots of time. it is free for smaller organizations or freelancers. it has Android, iPhone and iPad support. It has many features for Account management related tools and features. we can upload documents, print as per requirements. it has other features like Billing & invoicing, contact database, cash Management which can help in many ways.
It is very easy to use and the features are great for the ones we utilize. If you have any issues at all, customer service or our sales rep is great to work with and fixes what issues I have. They are always willing to help out and to follow up to make sure you don't have any more issues.
Overall - easy to use. There are some missing features (like fillable pdf forms), and it also requires using certain credit card processors to link billing (otherwise it doesn't work).
It is a time saver for Account related things and it has a Billing & invoicing feature which helps us to generate bills and prints directly or share online. It has a very well designed dashboard where we can do our daily work. and it is free for freelancers and small companies so need to worry about money
Although getting through to the right person may take a while, they have the ability to take over your screen and always assist with whatever you need.
I do miss the days when I could easily call up a rep and talk to them about any issues I had with the service. But I still do hear back from the customer service rep during the week within 24 hours.
Before shifting to SlickPie I was using QBO, so I guess I'll list it as a competitor. However, since SlickPie offers me 80-90% of QBO's features for free I can't really say QBO is a relevant contender.

vCita has been very responsive to our needs and desires for improvement in certain areas. We have appreciated the level of support we receive when a problem arises. Our biggest gain when moving was the reliability of this product's teleconferencing integration with Zoom. With OnCall we had trouble onboarding people, difficulty with the app they used going down, etc. We also had expectations about progress with Forms that we unmet.
Increased Social Media Presence has kept us in touch with clients
I believe our overall package has resulted in increased web traffic. More clients are finding us through social media and web searches than any other year before.
The initial cost was high compared to other options but the features in the base level allowed even the smallest of business to grow into the paid version of the service.
The time saved with self service bookings and profile management for customers has been a big plus and made the purchase of the service worthwhile.
The constant improvements to the platform have been enough to continue to use the service as it develops into a competent CRM.
