Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We utilize Accruent EMS to coordinate the reserving of space across campus. We are a University and utilize it for conference rooms, open spaces, parking spaces, hot desk locations, and many other venus. We use it to not only reserve the space, but to send necessary notifications to various parties to arrange for catering, services, heating and cooling. It is really a robust system for managing any type of space on campus. Think outside the box with this system, we integrate with student organization systems to manage the officers being able to book space, we integrate with the campus calendar system to post events to the campus calendar. We also utilize room signs that show the availability of space at the door of the space. So many options and possibilities.

- Documentation needs updated
- Occasionally have issues with the web portal for pulling updates
- System is moving towards cloud based integrations which takes alot of local control out of your hands, which is good for updates but not so good for managing your data.
Likelihood to Recommend
As I have stated, the management of space including integrating with Outlook to help with outlook rooms. It can help monetize underutilzed space and provide a return on investment for that space. If you are like us with classroom space, you can utilize Accruent EMS to manage the classrooms both for classes and for time outside of classes to monetize that space.
