We use Acronis to back up special clients in our company. This protects us in case company-relevant computers stop working and allows us to restore them on new hardware. In addition, we can clone specialized computers (those with specialized software or settings) onto new hardware when replacing them. This saves us a lot of time.
Pros
Easy administration.
Good overview.
Available everywhere.
Cons
Workloads were incomprehensible at first.
Restoring clients with automatic SYSPREP.
Better to know which ports, IPs, etc. need to be enabled on the firewall.
Likelihood to Recommend
The web layout is easy to understand, and you can quickly find your way around. There are lots of settings you can configure for backups. What wasn't so clear was how the workloads are applied. At the beginning, you don't know how they are assigned to a client or when the client takes them.

We use Acronis Cyber Protect Backup Advanced to back up our on-premises bare metal servers and virtual machine servers with the VMware vCenter server appliance. We back up 30 days of data per server.
Pros
Ease of set up.
Recovering past data from backup.
Cyber Protect console is user-friendly.
Cons
Not great information on why some backup schedules don't work on certain servers.
Cyber Protect console can be slow or not connect sometimes.
Getting information on adding different types of licenses can be improved.
Likelihood to Recommend
It works great as a cloud backup solution, and restoring data from a past backup is easy. If you need an easy-to-use cloud backup solution for some servers, I would recommend Acronis. If we had a need, I would use this to back up all of our computers as well. I am not too sure how it would handle backing up over 50 devices, though.

We are a distributor who works with MSP's and provides Acronis Cyber Protect as a solution.
Acronis Cyber Protect is used for the backup of M365 which helps fulfill the shared responsibility requirements of Microsoft, to add to this Acronis Cyber Protect backup solution is more advanced and granular than competitors. This makes sure all M365 workloads are backed up and available for restore or disaster recovery. Acronis Cyber Protect also has backup for Google Workspace. This solutions covers both major productivity solutions.
Acronis Cyber Protect is also used to backup servers, VM's and workstations. Finally, security solutions by using XDR+ Email security to secure the IT environment and using workflow automations to automate the response and remediation in the case of an incident.
Pros

Cybersecurity (email security, EDR, XDR, MDR)
Backup of servers, workstations and VM's

Cons
Backing up Sharepoint automatically backs up all users with access to Sharepoint even if the user is not needed to be backed up
Complex licensing structure
Needing to manually download workloads to move backups
Dormant users still backed up and incurring charges
Likelihood to Recommend
All in one platform (backup, security, patch management etc.) reducing the need for different vendors, ideal for businesses who want a single pane of glass. Good for MSPs and service providers due to automations tools, multi tenancy, and single platform.
Acronis Cyber Protect relies heavily on cloud connectivity for management and updates, may not be appropriate for environments needing strict isolation e.g. defense.

Integrated cybersecurity stands out against the other competitors. Acronis backup solution is something I did a lot of research about and compare it with the other backup solutions. The ability to implement email security, endpoint protection and remote management from a single console is great and makes the life much easier rather than logging in to different portals.
Pros
Backup
Email security.
Endpoint protection.
Cons
The onboarding can be simpler and fast.
Remote management can have added functionality.
PSA can also have more features.
Likelihood to Recommend
Acronis cyber protect is well suited for the small to medium businesses, the ability to turn on the end point protection and email security, MDR and RMM is great. It really helps to manage different services from the single console and get a single report instead on logging into different portals

Pros
Backup data to on-prem local storage
Backup data to cloud
Backup data across multiple sites
Backup data with multiple OS types
Cons
Sometimes backups take longer and we have to create multiple appliances to manage backups so they complete within 12 hours
Data doesn't get scanned for Malware when backing up
Solution isn't airtight like other products
Likelihood to Recommend
We have a specific type of Hyperconvergence Environment and Acronis does a great job of connecting to our hypervisor and managing our backup environment. Backup and Replication is fairly straight forward. I would recommend if you purchase Acronis Cyber Protect that you also invest in the Acronis Cloud storage and not a third party because you have full visibility into the cloud and data.

Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited for backups of 365. On Prem backups work just fine. We have come into issues when we need to do a recovery and it takes time to provision . For instance barebone recovery.

Great works when there is a disaster in the on-prem server. The server can run in a minuts to continue the business and recover to multiple destination options.
it is not much useful when recovering in a modified cloud environment like AWS, akamai. However, if, someone has great skill in linux it can be managed
Acronis Cyber Protect is used for backing up specific, so-called critical PCs. It allows for hot backups of these machines. Acronis Cyber Protect also helps me easily create full system images while the PCs are powered off during their initial configuration. This approach is more relevant and effective than using Microsoft’s system restore points.
Pros
Full and incremental backup of a PC
offline system backup and restore
Virtualization of a PC from a backup
Cons
License management and the ability to create multiple subscription administrator accounts by enterprise groups are areas that could be improved. This would allow for better delegation of responsibilities and more flexible access control in large organizations.
That said, this functionality might already exist — I haven’t fully explored this aspect of the application management yet.
Likelihood to Recommend
Backup and restoration of entire systems, as well as data recovery from backup files.
