Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Arcoro helped us meet modern standards by bringing the onboarding and application process directly to the applicant, making it accessible via mobile and online via email hyperlink. Also provides an easy data migration from forms to our full accounting software, Coins. It provides a backup of files in case of loss or misplacement. The scope of Arcoro is the entire onboarding process, from welcoming new hires to enabling final approval of all information before it is migrated to our Coins system.

Pros

Display and fillable online forms.
Migration of data to our other software.
Administration use of creating hires and checking information.
Ability to access files after if needed.

Cons

The visual screen is lacking borders.

Likelihood to Recommend

Perfect for bringing an ancient paper-only company into the digital age by delivering the application to the applicant's home or wherever they can access it. It is well-suited for coin users, with the ability to integrate and move onboarding information. It would not be well-suited to the new generation that enjoys Dark mode on websites.

We use it for Applicant Tracking, Onboarding, and CoreHR. We like that it is really a one-stop shop for our whole process.

Pros

Feeding from module to module.
House data nicely.
Easy use.

Cons

The alphabetical use is all over the place. It’s hard to search. An example would be how the time-off and performance managers are.
Formatting. Example would be SSN with no dashes.
Tax forms. I feel like they should be set up similarly. For example, federal tax forms show "exempt" on the outside, but the state does not.
Support. It would be very helpful to have quicker support.

Likelihood to Recommend

It would be great for companies that are truly only 1. When combining different companies into 1 makes it hard.

We use Arcoro HR for many different things in our company, but my main focus is Exaktime. I do the payroll for the company. We employ between 235-250 employees and we pay weekly so I rely on Arcoro HR to function properly. Whenever I have an issue, Arbaz Khan, our Customer Success Manager, is quick to respond, and if he doesn't have the answer I need, he points me in the right direction, which I sincerely appreciate! He also does a great job following up to make sure things get handled! A+

Pros

Daily approvals in Exaktime have made a huge difference in my workflow
Navigation has gotten easier

Cons

Since we started using the HUB, I have things listed as jobsites that are not jobsites on Exaktime, I'd like them removed such as DO NOT SYNC, JBLMANG, JENSEN, 1 HOME OFFICE, 2 DM OFFICE I guess they are called "locations" but every once in a while one of our guys will clock into one of them by mistake.
When submitting a ticket, quicker response time would be appreciated. Arbaz is quick to respond but the tickets are not responded to very quickly. I think Arcoro HR is a great product but response time is important! Especially when you have a lot of employees counting on a paycheck every Friday.

Arcoro HR is a terrific product when it is flowing the way you need it to! It has a lot to offer but it just takes time to learn all that it has to offer and then we throw the ever-changing world into the mix. I appreciate the webinars you put out and the quick Open Office Hours have been awesome too! Your people like Arbaz Khan, Max Clement, and Shannon Baquar have been very helpful to me!

Arcoro is a valuable tool for us that streamlines the onboarding of our trade employees at jobsites. We could not successfully onboard the quantity of new hires without Arcoro in our tech stack. Before Arcoro, it took up to 5 business days to properly execute new-hire intake, verification, and training. With Arcoro, we can complete this process in under 8 hours for over 90% of our new hires. That's impressive, given that we onboarded 8,000 in 2025.

Pros

Organizing the correct documents for new hires based on state, union local, etc.
Automating the E-Verify process.
Providing policies and training materials at onboarding.
Offering a kiosk mode with mobile devices that makes onboarding both digital and mobile.

Cons

EmpTrust has been combative in its approach to working with us to address issues. A new E-Verify partner would be greatly appreciated.
Federal and State update forms are delayed in being available within the platform. This causes questions and confusion at onboarding until they're available. Sooner availability would keep the process efficient and reduce data-entry errors that require later changes.

Likelihood to Recommend

Arcoro's product is competitive with many options on the market. Where I feel they set themselves apart is in how they work with us as customers. Our rep ensures our issues and questions are addressed promptly. She is proactive in notifying us of platform outages or enhancements and in communicating our needs to the product team. We really feel heard as a company when working with her.

Arcoro HR is our 'Truth' in regards to housing our benefit elections and employee changes to benefits, where we do our open enrollment, applicant tracking and onboarding. In addition, we utilize Arcoro HR for ACA reporting, electronic feeds to our benefit vendors and the employee portal which gives employee access to their paystubs, W2s, required documentation, etc.

Pros

Open Enrollment - this is an AWESOME feature. We have over 900 employees and we wouldn't dream of doing this by hand again! Everything legible and every required field filled out.
Electronic feeds to the insurance carriers/benefit vendors - this is seamless and we have more issues with the vendors than with Arcoro HR!
ACA reporting is something that they handle and it is one less headache that we have to deal with!
Applicant tracking that flows into onboarding then into the benefits module!

Cons

Email feature to all employees - and whether the email is actually successfully delivered to the employee. Currently, you can only send with no confirmation that it's been accepted.
Onboarding into the benefits module - we have added fields in core that we manually have to add as they are not in the onboarding. Wishing there were more fields that we could fill out earlier in the process so that it could all flow without manual input (but we've added a lot!)
Friendlier report creation.

Likelihood to Recommend

Arcoro HR is not perfect, but when their systems are not as robust as we need them to be or if something fails, our experience is that they want to partner with you in order to make the system/experience better. We have had things go wrong, but when we pointed this out, management followed up throughout the remainder of the process and listened to what we had to say. We actually have had them call us for suggestions and have seen some of these suggestions actually be implemented. They don't make excuses, they make it 'right' even if that means crediting our account. That doesn't happen very often in my experience.

We use Arcoro's Exaktime, and it help us remain organized specially to keep actual and accurate track of employees time while at jobsites, we need to keep and manage a good control of field employees as the move around with multiple jobsites that in most cases leads them to a multiple pay rates due to contract requirements.

We use Exaktime from Arcoro HR to have our field employees clock in/out and we also monitor their whereabouts to verify they are on the correct job. We have used this for awhile now and it helps us keep the correct employee on the correct job. There are some issues when multiple jobs have similar locations and there are also some issues when trying to decide when an job needs to be inactive and shares a location. But, that is mostly minor issues. There are a few times a year that there are outages and they are mostly handled smoothly. I do wish the reports could be more user friendly.

I use it for HR, ATS, Onboarding, Performance reviews, and benefits.

Pros

Auto renews postings.
The reports are very detailed.
Tracks a lot of information.

Cons

Getting the setup done correctly the first time.
Be more user-friendly, and access support helps a lot faster.
Integrations need improvement.
Tying in all the systems and services to work correctly.
You need to make the reports easily editable. It takes too long to create a basic report.

We are still new to Arcoro HR. They don't have all the bugs figured out yet. So, I can't say how well the system works. Based on our experience so far, it seems Arcoro HR is new to the HRIS space and needs significant improvement. Depending on the industry, Arcoro would be a good fit. Not so much for G.C's

We use Arcoro HR for applicant tracking and onboarding. It allows us to stay organized for open positions, candidates, and for onboarding new employees.

Implementation is well supported
Easy to use and good support
Good and storing documents

Cons

The support wiki could be a better at searching
some features are not as easy to configure or have limited configuration options

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Arcoro HR has been a great help with time keeping. Our guys use it on the field to clock in and take notes. Transfer of time sheets over to our payroll system is a breeze. Whenever we have issues or questions, the Arcoro team is quick to respond, send instructions or give us direction. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
