“Biggest advantage is scalability
2. You can add infra capabilities as and when needed
3. High availability
4. Full access to server details, don't need to depend on other vendors

One disadvantage I can think of is COST.
Even when AWS says you pay what you need, isn't correct but you need to keep your infra on standby to use it when you need and that involves cost.”
