Cisco is quick efficient and secure

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am a hybrid worker and so I work both in the office and at home. I use Cisco AnyConnect at home to securely connect to our Trust network via the secured VPN. I simply open it up and click connect and enter my password and an additional password which I get from my secure IT token app and within a matter of seconds, I am connected and can access our NHS Trust network which allows me to access secure files from my home. Additionally, I am a bank Midwife and I use Cisco AnyConnect out in the community via my work tablet. Cisco AnyConnect allows me to remotely access files and programmes that usually I could only access if I was on site in the office.

Pros

  • It connects quickly
  • the connection process is simple
  • The connection stays live for a long time
  • If I lose connection, I get an alert/warning.

Return on Investment

  • I would be unable to say as I am user without insight into the business objectives of my employer (an NHS Trust)
