We use it for all our project accounting and payroll functions. The payroll utility is very flawed. The taxes are often in accurate. We have to open cases with support almost weekly. And the reporting for payroll is often inaccurate. I have had to build queries to get better data.

I use CCMiC Construction Platform daily in my role as a Staff Accountant. We currently use the platform to enter invoices and pay apps from our vendors.

Pros

CMIC provides a great system for entering invoices and pay apps.
CMIC does a good job of helping us with financial reporting.
CMIC Does well with creating check runs.

Cons

CMIC can improve on software integration.
CMIC can improve on Importing invoices in Image Manager.
CMIC can improve help desk resolutions.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

All areas of business from accounting to project management to payroll. We replaced Viewpoint accounting with CMiC Construction Platform and much of what we were doing in Procore from a project management standpoint. We are in the process of getting rid of Procore entirely for CMiC Construction Platform. CMiC Construction Platform is a bit more powerfull in terms of reporting and meets out needs of a "one stop shop".
