Pricing shown is for organizations running $3M or less in construction volume each year.
We evaluated Procore, but couldn't get past their pricing structure. It just didn't make sense to pay more money to Procore, based off of the success of our company. We were more inclined to us a user based fee system that seemed to encompass all facets of construction.
Procore is a better collaborative tool (within the company and with outside partners) but CMiC is a better cost management tool. Procore customizations are really pricey compared to CMiC's. Plan management in Procore is WAY better than CMiC. Procore has better online access to …
Similar to Prolog with user interface and operations - but Prolog was not as robust and didn't have all the modules or abilities. Procore is not as robust - didn't have the advantages or timesheets - but much more user friendly with interfaces and intuitiveness in features for a …
Procore had a much better user interface, required much less training, allowed better subcontractor and designer collaboration, included drawing management, and had a much better punch-list function. However, it required outside software and spreadsheets to manage financials.
I have used Procore prior and would move back in a heartbeat. The field/PM side of Procore is leaps and bounds better than CMiC. CMiC had a better financial tools side, which is why Brinkman moved to CMiC.
Procore actually has a better and prettier project management platform, but at the end of the day it was nearly the same cost for our team as CMiC, and we still would have had to purchase another construction accounting software, then double-entry (or at best import/export) …
Worse than all 3. PlanGrid: Smoother use than CMiC. The way it is formatted and shows the plans in order is the best. CMiC shows plans in the order they were uploaded instead of plan order (A100, A101, etc.). Procore: Same reason as PlanGrid. It just feels as though CMiC's plan …
CMiC incorporates more features and reduces the need to use additional software platforms. We found that Foundation Software is not as user-friendly and can be limited in the various types of reports that are available. PlanGrid and Procore both would have had to be partnered …
I previously used Procore Technologies and loved it. Was extremely easy to use, had an online course that you could watch for each specific job title and would run through everything you needed to know, and if you needed to know other job title information you could take that …
CMiC Construction Platform is more powerful than Vista with more features...works well with GCPay. Procore did not have accounting which was a huge drawback and we had to ERP data back and forth which can be a pain especially when there were issues. The downside of being on …
Better looking platform. Easy to use as well. CMiC Construction Platform is what was selected by the general contractor for us to use for RFIs and submittals.
Vice President of Construction and Field Operations
Chose CMiC Construction Platform
CMiC Construction Platform is the best price point in the market. Others are revenue-based billings, and the annual fees reflect as such. CMiC Construction Platform support staff is generally amazing and offers real-time support on critical issues. The imaging and workflow …
CMiC is a very powerful tool with the ability to integrate into other software platforms and transfer information between programs. With the click of a button, we can transfer data from CMiC to our MSR software and only have a few manual entry points to complete a monthly …
It doesn't. There are many other programs out there that offer similar services (Procore) that are much more user friendly and offer a collaborative environment for different entities (owner, architect, subcontractors). But the layout and interface is so layered and cumbersome …
Procore allows multiple team members to work together from different locations and access all the documents and project reports. The Engineering files and various information can also be handled securely and easily through the Procore data management environment. The estimates …
Procore was the first platform we witnessed that appeared to be designed by, or at least in tandem, with construction professionals. The tool itself fits in with how construction operations staff currently do their work and require minimal training in order to roll-out. We also …
Overall the best single-platform solution right now, but it comes at a high price. Main reason for selecting back in 2016 was integration with accounting/ERP. While Procore has done well improving the product overall, some specific pain points persist and really frustrate …
We first utilized Procore because it was mandated by the Owner. However, after using it for a few years, I've found that it's my preferred platform. It works just as well (if not better!) than the other programs that I've used. It's typically more user-friendly.
Prolog is a good project management application, but it doesn't offer the level of customization along with customer feedback & support that Procore does. CMiC is also very similar to Procore and Prolog, but the available features and tools within CMiC fall short of what …
Procore does more than any of the listed above and does them better and in a more user-friendly fashion. Helix is particularly bad for document management usability. Same for e-Builder - the interface is not very user-friendly. We selected Procore based on cost, mobile app for …
Procore does not have the capabilities that PlanGrid has as site applications, but it does offer more modules. Therefore, it was selected for offering more project management tools.
Procore is more intuitive to use than CMiC. Furthermore, you have the abilities to make changes …
CMIC was almost anti-user friendly. While it allowed for project and financial tracking, getting data into teh system was so troublesome it was a deterrent. Newforma was really only a document tool. And while it had advantages at the time, its failure to adapt to competition …
There is no comparison. As I have been saying throughout this survey, the easy, point and click nature of Procore can't stack up against other softwares. Procore has excelled in making Project Management documentation easy. When you do get hung up on a task or can't figure …
Procore is similar to CMiC since you can do most of the same tasks but Procore is way more user-friendly and the learning curve to use the software is much smaller than it would be using CMiC.
Procore is a more well rounded and seamless software. It also continues to with integrate other third party software solutions making it more of a one stop shop than others.
procore is a great combination of Bim360 and CMiC. It takes the functions from CMiC and the user friendliness from Bim and combines them into one product.
We spent over two years reviewing/testing several different project management software. Procore's versatility; its ease of on boarding and training and its app are what put it above all the others for us.
All of these systems function very similarly and have many of the same characteristics. I have found Procore to have the best UI and easiest/most efficient interaction of any that I have used.
Procore was a mix of collaborative and non collaborative software and provided most of the functionality we needed. It was most tailored to the way we have been using project management software in the past.
