Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I've helped companies implement Deacom ERP at their businesses. Deacom ERP helps provide controls and data visibility to multi-entity businesses which may have no current-state ERP or may need a consolidated ERP solution.

Pros

  • sales order management
  • purchase order management
  • production job management

Cons

  • MRP - it is rather difficult to understand
  • Quality Control - it is not possible to effectively note/track hold reasons and drive action

Likelihood to Recommend

Deacom is well suited for businesses seeking an all-in-one solution which doesn't require much programming/scripting expertise. The reports and layouts are pretty customize-able and don't require a ton of technical expertise.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Deacom ERP for our contract manufacturing business for everything starting with sales order entry and product set up all the way through job entering, and shipping and then tracking through the entire system for inventory.

Pros

  • New product set up in item master
  • Formula management excel uploads for BOM creation
  • Inventory tracking

Cons

  • Automated CoA creation
  • Testing group entry where rotational testing is difficult to set up
  • Not allowing costing to not be copied in item master

Likelihood to Recommend

For our purposes it works well compared to our previous system. It works well for basic functionality but some of the more nit picky things need to be updated. (And honestly we are using an older version so it may have been updated and we are just behind the times).

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use for accounting, tracking inventory, building projects and sales orders, use the MRP report and generate reports to get data to be more efficient with our company. It is able for us to use cost for our Projects and do a zero cost on our sales order to keep track of the project and progress billing.

Pros

  • It's flexible on being able to add columns needed when running reports
  • All the abilities are able to do are in one platform
  • Can customize it to fit your company

Cons

  • The WIP reporting is difficult to use and understand where projects are at

Likelihood to Recommend

Deacom ERP does a great job at customization of the program and flexibility to make it more efficient for the company. It also does well with keeping track of deal pricing.

The commission calculation on the deal pricing cards don't calculate commission correctly when running reports.
