Foxit PDF Editor- highly satisfied
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Foxit PDF Editor extensively across our organization due to its intuitive and user-friendly interface. It’s easy to navigate, even for users who aren’t particularly tech-savvy, which helps reduce training time and streamline our workflows. One of the primary business problems it addresses is the efficient preparation and organization of documents for hearings. The ability to quickly combine multiple PDFs into a single file is critical when assembling hearing exhibits.
The bookmarking feature and the ability to instantly generate a table of contents have been absolute game changers. They significantly improve the navigability of large document sets, making it easier for our team, judges and other parties to locate specific sections quickly.
Pros
- Easily combines multiple pleadings, exhibits, and supporting documents into a single, organized PDF—ideal for preparing court filings or hearing binders.
- The ability to insert bookmarks and generate an instant table of contents makes navigating large case files straightforward for attorneys, judges, and opposing counsel.
Cons
- The OCR will sometimes not fully capture all of the document properly, especially with older legal documents.
- Searching through large documents can be a bit glitchy and lag or miss information.
- We haven’t been able to real time collaborate with other team members on the documents in Foxit. That would be a nice addition.
