Getscreen.me is intended as a way to remotely log into customers, clients or other users screens and provide technical support. In our organization, we don't have a need to access to others' screens. But Getscreen.me does also offer a feature called "permanent Screens." Which means you can install it on any of your computers and then log in to control that computer's screen. So essentially, we use it as a tool to do remote login to our own computers in different locations (i.e. when working from home and need to log in and see the office computer).
Pros
Remote screen control
Easy to use interface
Fully loaded feature set
Cons
On a mac, better ability to trigger a hidden dock
Certain key commands don't work and only trigger the computer you're actually on, not the remote one.
Make it a little less IT focused and a bit more layman friendly with some naming and features.

Getscreen.me is just excellent for remote access to other computers. It does it well. Whether it's to assist a customer and you need to be able to see and control their screen, or if you want to use it to remotely see your own computer in another location. You can also set it up so that you can access team member's computers in order assist them or access their computers if they are unable to.
Getscreen.me is a great remote access company I have rolled out across all of our remote sites to allow us to have access to the computers at our various locations to adjust our media software that runs at the various sites. Great for remote maintenance of our sites and fixing windows software problems.
I considered using the industry standard Teamviewer, as I have been a long-term user at home. However, when looking at the corporate plans - it is exorbitant amount of money they want for a commercial license.
In my search for an alternative, I came across Getscreen.me and I am SO GLAD I did - as they offer an amazing, easy to use solution with custom branding for remote clients running at the remote sites.
Well worth a look - as I am sure you will agree with me that value for money wise - nothing beats Getscreen.me!
Pros
Easy remote roll out
Quick overview on dashboard to ensure PCs are online
Branding the remote client is really easy
No need to install software on your PC to access your remote sites. All Web based.
Cons
Speed - the Getscreen.me solution is an all round winner - however I find that there is a slight lag when controlling a remote PC mouse - compared to the competitors products. If this can be improved on - the GETSCREEN.ME get a 10 out of 10 from us!
We use Getscreen.me to access admin and production machines remotely. We were looking for something very lightweight, fast, and easy for end users to use. Getscreen.me fit all three of those requirements. It's quickly become our go-to remote access solution, bypassing the ones we already have available through identity management.
Pros
Smooth remote video
Lightweight agent app
Simple setup and connection
Multi monitor support
Cons
Groups functionality seems a little weak.
Multiple monitors at the same time on different displays would be great.
Permissions and sharing is a little confusing at times.

Getscreen.me has been very useful for supporting our office and production machines, but it's also been a great asset for troubleshooting issues for our guests. The quick support is great for solving problems quick, without needing to have a full install or permanent access granted. For an org that cycles guests in and out all year, it's really been a gamechanger.

The direct use case is the use of a remote software for client data management, automation implementation and after sales support. It has been extremely helpful to have a secured and stable remote solution which helps to reduce the amount of traveling time or onsite support. A lot of time and money are saved from going to client's site. Some other use cases may be the support of internal business partners or colleagues in project discussions and knowledge sharing.
Pros
Easy connection to new clients - both one time use and permanent
Support remote users from any device - even a cell phone with ease
File sharing
Connection Audit Log at ease

Cons
Allow more team members per account
It would be nice if screenshots of what customers may possibly see when attempting to connect could be added to help guide them for an easier connection.
Stronger user group management to prevent sharing PC access between users by default.
IP restriction and white listing

It is appropriate on most cases of supporting the client's work remotely or supporting questions/issues where required. The less appropriate situation is where client has a restriction of downloading any form of remote .exe file into their device due to security control. It is important to ensure that the support model does not restrict remote access due to security control.

As long as there is internet connectivity, Getscreen.me is useful for connecting to your desktop or a server in order to work remotely. An example would be a dedicated machine for rendering video. We use Getscreen.me to log in and start the render. Connecting to a client desktop to provide on system support. There is the ability to log and record activity when the application is used, this would be helpful for monitoring activity of a remote desktop tech support team. Reporting is basic but provides enough information to track interactions.

It's well suited for IT employees who want to have an easy way to connect to other empoyees or customers. the quck conenct functionallity is easy to use and setup. Unfortunitly in germany some customers got slow internet and the performance from getscreen.me is not so great compaired to other remote desktop software.
Once upon a time, TeamViewer was awesome. Then, they decided to alienate all of their user base and price themselves out of the market. These were the dark times for small IT shops. Sure, there were other options, but nothing quite did all of the things, or the implementation was too complex, or a few dozen other reasons why there was no Goldilocks solution. Then one day, a small program decided to fight back against the darkness. Getscreen.me checked all boxes other, lesser options failed to conquer. A new hero has arrived.

We have provided remote support after Covid for all worldwide employees working from home. To share team conferencing files, we used TeamViewer before the latest regulatory changes, but nobody had a formal license. Because we wished to add remote assistance for even more computer systems, including home office workers' desktop computers, we had to launch assistance efficiently without finding a new version of the TeamViewer application. GetScreen.me was the ideal solution. The QuickSupport feature enabled me to assist someone quickly and easily, and the Permanent Access feature made managing machines from being able to access them wherever I was simple. This troubleshooting couldn't be easier - either from the point of use or with regard to deployment to replace TeamViewer.
Since Covid, we have staff members all over the world working from home. We used to use TeamViewer for remote support when everyone was in offices, but we had an older Lifetime license that was no longer supported. When we needed to add remote support for a lot more computers, including home workers personal PCs, we needed to roll out support quickly and without the cost of a TeamViewer upgrade.
Getscreen.me was the perfect solution. The QuickSupport feature is great for when I need to help someone on a one-off basis, and the Permanent Access feature made managing desktops and servers easy from wherever I was and saved me many drives into the office to work on servers during the pandemic. I can't overstate how easy this was to handle - both from the point of use and the deployment to replace TeamViewer.
Pros
Remote Support
File Transfers
Remote Training
Server Maintenance
Cons
The Deployment download changes a lot so it would be nice to have a permanent URL to grab the executable and know its the most recent version.

Getscreen.me is an extremely valuable tool for remote assistance. It’s essentially a screen sharing software that allows you to connect to a client’s computer through a web browser. The web screen sharing feature is a very useful tool as it permits for you to see exactly what it is that your client is viewing. The remote assistance operator can view all open windows on the client’s screen. This not only gives you a better understanding of the issue at hand, it also allows you to show a client how to resolve an issue.
