Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Go1 for staff training. It is much better for our staff to do this online as they work different hours and shifts. This helps them do training in their own time.

Pros

  • Easy to find the courses
  • Easy to navigate through the training modules
  • Generates reports

Cons

  • So far, I have not seen anything that needs improvement

Likelihood to Recommend

For the hospitality industry, it is great as it offers so many different courses that are related to hospitality. It is also easy to follow especially for employees who may have LLN issues or English is not their first language. The English used and the training is very easy to follow. The training courses and modules are short and straight to the point.

Go1 - Excellent LMS for SMEs

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Being a small company, the budget for development is restricted. Previously we focussed purely on mandatory compliance training only (health & safety, GDPR etc), sourcing each course as it was required. This was a very reactive approach, which was hard to manage and not very cost effective. We researched multiple LMS solutions to provide our staff with a more proactive approach to learning, and Go1 presented the best model by far! For the same average cost per employee of those ad hoc mandatory courses over the year, we could offer them with over 70,000 options for compliance professional and personal learning.

Because of the previous lack of development, we launched the content in phases. To start we launched a host of compliance courses (including a few of our own courses) and initiated an annual compliance learning cycle. As staff got used to the new approach to learning, we expanded to include selected professional development courses based on manager and employee requests - Excel skills, Tackling Difficult Conversations etc. With the fantastic adoption of learning across the company, we have now released the full suite of 70,000+ courses with a push for self-managed learning.

Pros

  • Variety of content
  • Great value for money
  • Excellent technical support
  • Great Account Manager
  • Annual and Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Easy to load own content

Cons

  • Schedule reoccurring annual training cycles
  • Retain completion information for repeat completion
  • More qualification/accreditation learning

Likelihood to Recommend

Go1 is a great solution for SMEs looking to implement their first LMS. The cost per person is reasonable and the content available is vast. The Account Managers do a great job at working with the business to ensure a smooth launch, with loads of additional content to drive usage (email templates, schedules, etc).

Enhancing learning experience in a waste management sector

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As a corporate entity, training is crucial for the development and growth of the organization. It is essential to have a well-planned corporate training agenda that caters to the needs and requirements of the staff members. The training needs analysis plays a critical role in identifying the specific topics or broader themes that the staff members require training on. We integrate Go1 with our corporate LMS, SuccessFactors (SF). This integration allows us to export the selected courses from Go1 to SF and then deploy them in SF to our course library. Alternatively, we can assign them automatically to staff members based on their job. The selected courses cover a broad range of areas, focusing on soft skills and personal well-being. These courses complement the technical-heavy in-house courses that we offer. By providing a well-rounded training curriculum, we can ensure our staff members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Pros

  • Vast library of professionally built and excellent content courses
  • Easy porting from Go1 portal to our corporate LMS
  • Constantly updated content keeping relevance to changes in the industry and regulations
  • Prompt and professional support that are responsive to customer feedback and suggestions to improve the platform

Cons

  • The integration from Go1 to SF can be improved with more attention to detail that can make a big impact in the operational cost of running the integration. Many information and configuration in the target system that should be available to pre-filling or can be pre-configured to allow better automated integration that is time efficient.
  • The reporting can be improved and further automated; this include in an integrated scenario.

Likelihood to Recommend

Go1 has a good collection of soft skills courses that are engaging and well developed, so we deploy a lot of Go1 courses in areas such as sales approach, communication, leadership, behavioural development, and wellbeing. However, any topic that is state specific, directly tied to company policy, or relevant to our equipment we developed our own custom online training packages.

Selection and implementation of an LMS into your organisation

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We implemented Go1 last year to enhance the learning and development opportunities of 350 colleagues across the organisation. The product had to be readily accessible, meet a variety of training needs due to different project teams activities and intuitive to use. Go1 had to accommodate not only providing good course content but arranging and scheduling external course events in partnership with one of the leading colleges in head office location. The ability to design and create our own courses, course contents and scheduling was a real bonus.

Pros

  • Ability to create own courses, use existing or create own content and schedule course dates
  • Ability to utilise extensive course content into courses combining a mixture of available course and develop own content
  • Notifications being automatically sent to attendees and managers
  • Ability to sync with our Core HR system to track any weekly movements

Cons

  • Ability to edit notifications could be improved as they were not always taking the customised messages that we would like to send to attendees
  • Have to develop own reporting suite to monitor users and course attendees.

Likelihood to Recommend

Go1 is specifically suited to situations where an organisation wants to quickly introduce and further its training agenda among colleagues. The vast curriculum of courses enables colleagues to readily select content that they would like to undertake without any upfront internal development work on course preparation. This is a big time saver.

Great platform, for orgs on their learning culture journey, with an abundance of technical and non-technical content

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Go1 is used to complement our blended learning solutions across the business. It is a platform that offers content for our leaders and individual contributors alike, enabling them to build robust development plans across the technical and professional capability requirements of their roles.

Pros

  • Communication of new partners and portfolio offerings
  • Sharing of ways to embed Go1 content into the business landscape
  • Helpful client management

Cons

  • Date stamps for content so that users can see the age of courses and determine relevance and currency. Some course content can date very quickly!
  • Ability to customise "featured playlists" section as the majority is completely irrelevant to our organisation

Likelihood to Recommend

Well suited for an organisation looking to build a learning culture and develop accountability for the creation and execution of their own learning plans. There is content there for just about everyone and provides a robust platform for any L&D function looking to educate their organisation on L&D. Probably less suited for organisations who are extremely mature in their organisational capability framework that want dedicated roadmaps for roles and job families.

Go1 bring a family feel to the biggest variety of curated eLearning content

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Go1 provides us with fantastic quality curated content for the majority of our induction and compliance-based needs. We also utilise their vast soft skills and personal skills to allow our employees to apply learning to their every day moments.

We were originally sourcing content from many suppliers, and creating bespoke content ourselves for anything that wasn't suitable. We found this to be time-consuming and expensive. Go1 allows us to curate our content from one place, along with several different course styles to fit with a variety of learner preferences and objectives, at an appropriate cost, and substantially quicker.

None of this would be possible without our Client Success Manager, Emily who always suggests the best content, keeps us updated with new collaborations, and updates for both industry and company.

Pros

  • Curating tailored content
  • Client relationships
  • Wide variety of content
  • Insights/reporting

Cons

  • Report integration with 3rd party LMS
  • Accessibility checks for 3rd party content - sometimes CC or window maximisation is unavailable

Likelihood to Recommend

Go1 and our Client Success Manager both have a wonderful family feel to them, which is exactly what we look for in a partner. Emily always seems to drop everything for us, even though we know she has plenty of other clients to look after. She always curates the most appropriate content for us, and I absolutely love the content calendar that they produce every year as inspiration for content topics.

Easy Decision, lets Go1!

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Go1 provides Wave with content that supports both hard and power skills. The content can be accessed by any of our colleagues 24/7 and the app helps with that. The content that we can get from Go1 also provides additional support materials and resources for other learning that we are rolling out. Go1 also integrates well with our LMS and our HR system, ensuring that we have all our people 'stuff' in one place.

Pros

  • Customer account management - easy to do business with
  • Content is relevant and up to date
  • Nothing is too much trouble and all interactions have a great result

Cons

  • I do not have anything to add here my experience has been out of this world

Likelihood to Recommend

Reduce learner fatigue on compliance training: we have a number of mandatory courses that all colleagues are required to complete some were quite long and rather dull. With Go1, we have managed to reduce the time required to complete the learning with micro-courses with plenty of interaction and testing at the end. This approach did not take away any of the required content but has made it a much better experience for our colleagues. Building a feedback and performance culture: this initiative was launched last year and involved training the workforce on how to give and receive feedback including upward feedback. The programme was successfully launched with part 2 running during 2023. Go1 helped to support additional resources around this topic for both managers and their direct reports. Embrace Learning: this is a Wave value and we actively encourage our people to take every opportunity to learn something new, we also support professional development so whether it supports learning a language for a holiday or provides additional resources for a degree course then Go1 can be counted on to help provide support resources.

Go1 provides employees with adaptable educational opportunities.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I manage Go1 for the company I work for. I choose Go1 because of the broad information available, which extends from frontline to executive. It is used for regulation along with growth coaching.

Pros

  • Educator knowledge- Browsing is simple and enjoyable for students.
  • Auto-reassign - In accordance with some of my input, this function is recent and functions excellent!
  • Interaction - The Go1 crew is easily accessible and answers quickly.

Cons

  • Educational credentials and certification
  • Since it lies at the center of the screen, the 'mark as read' option is frequently overlooked.
  • Reporting systems has some issues which can be fixed

Likelihood to Recommend

We utilize Go1 to help everyone on our staff grow professionally. We also improve our system of internal instruction. We hope to utilize Go1 as a single source for every training and safety reporting.

Powerful platform for a small & mighty team

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our team uses Go1 to provide employee training & development company-wide. The platform allows us to better build out our learning and development function within the company, without having to build out a large L&D team.

Pros

  • Helps customers create learning paths for their teams
  • Provides a large pool of content to select from
  • Assists when asked to provide insights on creating a learning and development program

Cons

  • Better surfacing up other pieces of content that may align with ones that were already completed

Likelihood to Recommend

When it comes to being a small but mighty learning and development function, Go1 has made us well equipped to provide our team with a large range of content to up-skill. It is easy for users to utilize, but you do need to invest time in creating learning paths with the content for your team.
