For the hospitality industry, it is great as it offers so many different courses that are related to hospitality. It is also easy to follow especially for employees who may have LLN issues or English is not their first language. The English used and the training is very easy to follow. The training courses and modules are short and straight to the point.

Being a small company, the budget for development is restricted. Previously we focussed purely on mandatory compliance training only (health &amp; safety, GDPR etc), sourcing each course as it was required. This was a very reactive approach, which was hard to manage and not very cost effective. We researched multiple LMS solutions to provide our staff with a more proactive approach to learning, and Go1 presented the best model by far! For the same average cost per employee of those ad hoc mandatory courses over the year, we could offer them with over 70,000 options for compliance professional and personal learning. <br>Because of the previous lack of development, we launched the content in phases. To start we launched a host of compliance courses (including a few of our own courses) and initiated an annual compliance learning cycle. As staff got used to the new approach to learning, we expanded to include selected professional development courses based on manager and employee requests - Excel skills, Tackling Difficult Conversations etc. With the fantastic adoption of learning across the company, we have now released the full suite of 70,000+ courses with a push for self-managed learning.

The training needs analysis plays a critical role in identifying the specific topics or broader themes that the staff members require training on. We integrate Go1 with our corporate LMS, SuccessFactors (SF). This integration allows us to export the selected courses from Go1 to SF and then deploy them in SF to our course library. Alternatively, we can assign them automatically to staff members based on their job. The selected courses cover a broad range of areas, focusing on soft skills and personal well-being. These courses complement the technical-heavy in-house courses that we offer. By providing a well-rounded training curriculum, we can ensure our staff members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

I appreciate the wide range of class offerings that are available. It was an invaluable tool during COVID shutdown. Our employees were able to maintain their educational requirements. It has been a great help.

  • I really like the Path options. We use these curated classes to support our supervisors.
  • I appreciate the wide variety of class options. It has been great to support our employees with work focused classes like Adobe and Microsoft, but also support their wellbeing with classes like mindfulness and meditation.
  • I am glad it is so easy and quick to find classes using the filters.
  • I like the quality of class content.
  • I appreciate how easy it is to add classes for our employees. I can do it in minutes.

Go1 is a great "library" for class content. It has a really wide variety of class options. We have a really usual and diverse group of employees and divisions. Go1 has been able to meet our needs really well. I appreciate the responsiveness of the representatives. I feel confident with them.

Go1 had to accommodate not only providing good course content but arranging and scheduling external course events in partnership with one of the leading colleges in head office location. The ability to design and create our own courses, course contents and scheduling was a real bonus.

Go1 provides us with fantastic quality curated content for the majority of our induction and compliance-based needs. We also utilise their vast soft skills and personal skills to allow our employees to apply learning to their every day moments.
We were originally sourcing content from many suppliers, and creating bespoke content ourselves for anything that wasn't suitable. We found this to be time-consuming and expensive. Go1 allows us to curate our content from one place, along with several different course styles to fit with a variety of learner preferences and objectives, at an appropriate cost, and substantially quicker.
None of this would be possible without our Client Success Manager, Emily who always suggests the best content, keeps us updated with new collaborations, and updates for both industry and company.

The content that we can get from Go1 also provides additional support materials and resources for other learning that we are rolling out. Go1 also integrates well with our LMS and our HR system, ensuring that we have all our people 'stuff' in one place.

Reduce learner fatigue on compliance training: we have a number of mandatory courses that all colleagues are required to complete some were quite long and rather dull. With Go1, we have managed to reduce the time required to complete the learning with micro-courses with plenty of interaction and testing at the end. This approach did not take away any of the required content but has made it a much better experience for our colleagues. Building a feedback and performance culture: this initiative was launched last year and involved training the workforce on how to give and receive feedback including upward feedback. The programme was successfully launched with part 2 running during 2023. Go1 helped to support additional resources around this topic for both managers and their direct reports. Embrace Learning: this is a Wave value and we actively encourage our people to take every opportunity to learn something new, we also support professional development so whether it supports learning a language for a holiday or provides additional resources for a degree course then Go1 can be counted on to help provide support resources.

We use Go1 as our external learning provider for various courses. At the moment, we are focussing on leadership training and change management, but in the past we have used Go1 for training on OKRs & CPD verified compliance training. We also use Go1 as our hub for ED&I training.
Pros and Cons
  • The huge library and variety of courses that can be accessed from multiple different providers in one place.
  • Our account manager from Go1 is always on hand to answer any questions we have or help with any tasks we have.
  • It is also very easy to pull reports from and monitor learning across the board.
  • I also love that I can pull the .skorm file for learning content from the site to reupload onto our internal site for compliance training.

Go1 has been very well suited to teams that have the scope to be able to take time away from their day-to-day work and focus on professional development.
Everyone across our business is able to access Go1 and is required to complete the compliance training, but we are seeing a lower percentage of usage from our Customer Service teams as they are often unable to come away from their desk.

Before we add more to the system, we need to understand whether the system can be validated as per 21 CFR Part 11. We have had an occasion when an external course was removed from our library and along with it all the records of completion. Access to records in our industry is essential.

Very good for small to medium businesses that have a small learning and development function or team (or none at all). Easy to use for non HR professionals and a large variety of on-demand content is included. You do need to spend time curating the right content for your learners however.

Go1 is a great learning partner!

I administer Go1 for my company. I made the decision to choose Go1 because of the extensive content that ranges for frontline to execs. We use it for compliance and development training.
Pros and Cons
  • Learner experience- The searching is easy and fun for learners.
  • Auto-reassign - This feature is newer based on some of my feedback and it works great!
  • Communication - The Go1 team is easy to reach and responds fast.

Great for our company! Not to high tech and learners at all levels enjoy and have access to the platform.

We faced the challenge of wanting to provide training to all our staff, but with limited people resources to achieve that. We knew we wanted to purchase content as a solution for this, so began the task of researching what was out there and would provide maximum coverage.

The range of content from other providers, but offered through Go1 is immense. We have used everything from Leadership Training, to Food Prep and it has been great to have it all under one roof.

The initial conversations when enquiring about the product were so easy, unpressured and fair. The sales rep was really supportive and listened to our needs alongside supporting our timescales.

Since implementation our account manager Emily has been fantastic. She has helped us demonstrate the successful impact of the Go1 implementation, helped us to curate content, improve our data collection and more.

  • Customer Service - Their support desk was always very helpful, friendly, and quick to respond.
  • Listens to their customers. They made many improvements over the years to their system based on our organization as well as others' feedback.
Likelihood to Recommend
I had started looking at the content as this is what they are most known for. I find that is their strength. GO1 customer service was my favorite part of being their customer. I really felt like if I was struggling with their LMS not doing exactly what I wanted they moved mountains to help me come up with solutions.
