HubSpot Academy is very easy to use and great for learnings with the practice quizzes, videos, and interactive demos!
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use HubSpot Academy to help train myself and other employees on all of HubSpot's different features. Our company bought another so we have two separate Hubspot CRM accounts. When I first started my job 4 years ago, I used HubSpot Academy to train myself on my basics of HubSpot. Now, we are realizing that HubSpot offers so much more so we have been using HubSpot Academy as a group and everyone is working on different things. Currently, I am watching the HubSpot Academy section on email marketing to learn the different tips and tricks on making your emails through HubSpot the most successful. Everytime we hire someone new, they also train with HubSpot Academy. It is very informative videos, practice quizzes, and interactive trainings.
Pros
- Easy to nagivate
- Informative training videos
- Informative practice quizzes
- Interactive practice (For example, when you are learning about setting up workflows, HubSpot Academy will then take you to a sample workflow so you can practice setting it up)
Cons
- Some of the training videos are a bit long, the more frequent shorter ones are more effective
- Sometimes you will do an interactive practice, then it will never give the check mark in HS academy like it was not completed
- A lot of the times their live chat is great. However, sometimes you ask a question and they will respond with a video or article that is already in the trainings
Likelihood to Recommend
I would recommend HubSpot Academy as an 8. It is an 8 because it is very informative and a great start for learning HubSpot CRM. There is every topic you can think of with informative videos, interactive learnings, and practice quizzes. Topics like workflows, email marketing, sequences, etc. However, sometimes the videos are very long. They are more effective when they are shorter and there is more of them. It is a hit or miss when that happens. Also, the trainings do not go into great detail so it is better for starting learning the basics and functions.
