Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Hyperglance to enable the best possible oversight of our cloud environment and provide the most comprehensive and accessible understanding of the connections within it. The biggest business challenge that Hyperglance helps us address is ensuring maximum ease of overview of the cloud environment, as well as the relationships between its various components.

Pros

  • Website and system monitoring. By using Hyperglance for monitoring the systems that underpin our real estate business, we can be assured that if our website or any other critical system faces an issue, we have an immediate insight into the possible associated resources that may be impacted.
  • Infrastructure review. Finally, we also find the use of Hyperglance essential during a business infrastructure audit.
  • Troubleshooting. The use of the Hyperglance would be critical in case of nay malfunctions of the systems or tools.

Cons

  • Simpler Interface. Some sections in the program could be less technical for non-technical team members to understand.
  • Better Search. An options for more refined search would be beneficial in the program in order to locate relevant documents concerning our property website efficiently.
  • Custom Reports. More report options catering towards a simple, business-based report would be preferable to have in the program.
  • Better Alerts. Alerts could indicate more information on the discrepancy and what to look for.

Return on Investment

  • Time Saving: The tools is currently saving- time spent on independent checks of different clouds in our real estate system.
  • Better Understanding: In addition, we gain a better understanding of the technology we use for our property listings and customer inquiries.
  • Faster Troubleshooting: Second, by providing a better overview of the relevant resources, the tool helps us troubleshoot the problems that occur in the system quicker than before.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We mainly use Hyperglance to know our cloud environment much better and also we can know how different resources are connected, It really helps when you want to check anything in AWS like its setup or to find any resources and we can easily understand all the dependenices without going to all the screens, it also helps us to find any unused resources so that we can have clear understanding when we are fixing any issues. Our major use case is around cloud visibilty an monitoring daily and to keep the environment more organized

Pros

  • we mainly use it for troubleshooting issues, we can see the relation between servers , networks, DB and any other resources which can help to find where the issue is.
  • Majorly it gives us clear view of our complete environment, we can check all in one place instead of checking each service seperately
  • It helps in keeping our cloud enviroment more organized, billing , resource usage etc.

Cons

  • If we are using multiple resources the screen looks a bit confusing .Having better filter options can make it easier to find what we need.
  • It would be better if we see cost along side the resources because it will be very helpful to find which is costing more money unnecessarily.
  • If we want to find any information it will take few clicks, Having simple search options and navigations will make any searches better.

Return on Investment

  • I would say time , we can save lot of time, if we dont have Hyperglance we have check all the services and resources, which we now have in a single place.
  • we can Save money, Because it helps us very easy to find unused resources.
  • One downside i think is , it will take sometime to understand all the features when u start using it.Once you understand everything i would say there is no going back.

We work with many complex environments. We need to see what’s going on across all of them, plus get a sense of spend/costs and where waste may be. A single panel/dashboard where we can review our data makes it much simpler.

  • Shows how everything connects.
  • Shows me everything I have to manage.
  • Helps me identify security gaps.

  • Something simpler as you first get started would be great.
  • The setup takes a little longer than expected.
  • More robust reporting would be nice.

We primarily use Hyperglance to optimize costs. We have many EKS clusters and need to understand the relationships between all components. Hyperglance offers a simple Helm chart deployment. The key benefit is identifying idle resources in the cluster that Karpenter isn't auto-remediating.
