Red Flag - kvCORE IS NOT SAFE TO USE!! Potential loss of all your database !

Red Flag!! Think twice if you are considering to use kvCORE. The most un-safe CRM I ever used, not recommend at all. kvCORE deleted my account without any pre-warning or notice, i lost all my database from the ads i spend over $13k in additon to all the open house leads i have done in 2023.,lately my office paid the fees as requested for data restoration, disappointingly 1 month later after paid, still no recover of my loss, Big big red flag for such un-safe CRM!!! kvCORE not really help but caused a big problem to my business.

Data security is the big concerns for my experience with kvCORE, this company could delete your account without any pre-notice or warnings. I signed up kvCORE under my company 's account and spend tons of time to learn the system and I spend over $13k on ads to generate the leads and all database stored in kvCORE, somehow I noticed my account was deleted Jan.03.2024 and I lost all my leads and database since than, My office and myself contacted kvCORE for several times and paid the data restoration fee and disappointingly , one month later after the requested fee paid to kvCORE, No any progress on my data restoration , 3 month I was unable to access my database, potentially lose 5 deals from the hot leads, very disappointing experience, i am sharing my bad experience with kvCORE here and hopefully this nightmare will never happen to anyone else!!

The lead routing software is an absolute joke - if you don’t respond within 3 minutes to a lead sent to you at 3am you lost the lead and get shoved to the bottom of the list for being “non-responsive.”

The forced automated responses when you enter a new lead is pathetic, and I have lost clients because they were being slammed with emails and texts I didn’t even know were being generated. You can turn it off, but only if you know that it was turned on by the system automatically in the first place.

The CRM works well, but it’s kind of scary how invasive it gets into your clients’ lives.

  • Stop automatically forcing all of my clients into a drip campaign with tons of emails and texts.
  • Ensure leads sent to agents aren’t only after 2am - some of us have to sleep, and refuse to have our phone on in the middle of the night.
  • Longer response times to accept leads. 3 minutes is pathetic - if I were shopping for a house and someone called me 3 minutes after I clicked I liked a house, I would actually be disturbed.

We use kvCORE as our primary company website as well as the CRM, Google PPC and Social network lead gen system. We have tried to use it for CMA's and listing promotions as well. This is sold as an all-in-one suite that will easily allow all your needs to be met from one dashboard with minimal training. We have found that every aspect of the system we have tried using has either been so difficult to learn or, more often, in my experience, completely incapable of functioning as needed according to tech support that we don't use most of the system at all and rely on other systems we have to pay for on top of kvCORE.

Pros

  • Support AI bot is good at replying within 1 to 24 hours but never sooner
  • Gives you daily reminders to call people you have already identified as not to be called
  • Provides an attractive IDX web site that is down almost as often as it works
  • Provides a search alert feature for clients that won't allow you to set up searches with custom criteria more than one option per search

Cons

  • Email feature could allow you to send with an attachment
  • In my opinion, support could help find resolution or answers to simple problems in less than 3 weeks average, difficult issues take longer and often never get resolved.
  • Prospect search alerts could allow reasonable functionality, Cannot set up a search for a 1 story, 1.5 and a 2 story home only. In my experience, this request will land no results because each one cancels the other out and the system will not allow to set up a search for one or the other. We were informed by support after months of trouble with this that it won't be fixed likely ever because no other brokers want to be able to set up searches with that type of customization.
  • Provide a dashboard for company and personal account settings that allows you to see what your money is being spent on. In my experience, there are tons of add ons and as soon as you sign up for one you never get to see what you're paying for. You have to go through, in my opinion, the horrible support system to try and learn what you have and cancel or add things. Very user unfriendly and feels like they are trying to scam extra charges to your credit card.
  • In my experience, the system is so difficult to use that it's hard to get agents to use it. The ones that do get discouraged pretty quickly when the simple basics don't function regularly and the advanced features are often so difficult to figure out that the agents give up before they even figure out if they do work or not.
  • In my opinion, the quality and quantity of the very expensive PPC ad leads are very poor. Majority have no phone and bad email is very common as well. In my experience, when we switched our PPC ads to kvCORE we doubled our ad spend and immediately started getting half as many leads and most with no contact info. I feel they do make you agree to a year contract before allowing you to see how bad their leads are. This is clear why after using this for 6 months.
  • If you have support questions, in my opinion, the chat box bot is worthless because even though it's AI it still doesn't respond in a timely matter. It seems like the system watches to see when your browser activity stops and then responds to you. In my experience, when you don't reply immediately it asks if you're still there then it closes your support request out. Even if you're still on the computer working you don't see this unless you're in kvCORE watching the support box. Who in business has time to sit for hours on end watching a support box window, especially one that almost never has any answers for you?
  • The sales department for kvCORE is great and they will make it look like a total game changer, which it is. In my opinion, the problem they hide from you is that it changes the game to one where you start losing unless you find another system quickly to cover all the bases that kvCORE doesn't. My understanding is that the custom plan that you can't get unless you're over 100 agents may have better support and allow you to customize the system to actually work. On the lower plans for smaller brokerages and teams, I feel this is a nightmare of a system. So robust with features that do you no good because, in my opinion, they don't function as advertised.

I think if you have a very large brokerage and can afford to pay for a fully customized set up then it may be worthwhile. I would make sure you have a dedicated support team, not an account manager. In my opinion, the account managers are worthless and will not respond most of the time. We are on our second account manager in 9 months of using the system and cannot get in touch with him. In my experience, the account managers have no knowledge of how the system works or how anyone in real estate would want it to work. Obviously, I can only say this for the two managers we have had so far. I would steer clear of this system unless you want to spend a few thousand a month for a system that, I feel, will impede your business rather than improve it.

I use kvCORE as a CRM to follow up with clients and set up campaigns. It automates my business for me. The problem is, in my opinion, the campaigns are very generic and most Sales Agents are using this program, so everyone has the same thing. I think this program is a cash cow and tries every way possible to milk you for more money. In my experience, it falls flat by not being responsive with problems, and the entire system is riddled with bugs. Some so basic, and completely on purpose such as lot letting you get coming soon listings for buyers. From what I understand, apparently, this feature was removed by some, in my opinion, genius within the company willingly.

Pros

  • In my opinion, thinking of new useless ways to milk more money from subscribers
  • In my experience, customer service reps not knowing the products available, or even being helpful assisting you. They put a ‘ticket in’ and nothing gets fixed.
  • In my experience, constant bugs and problems. Very consistent with this one

Cons

  • Literally everything. I think their free websites are terrible. Good luck getting it to pop up well on a google search.
  • In my experience, their campaigns are useless on their own.
  • In my opinion, Support is terrible
  • Emails lack options to add attachments
  • System doesn’t remove duplicate clients
  • In my experience, when you transfer a lead, they will keep getting the previous agents campaigns. I think this is super confusing for consumer and terrible for agents since you need to constantly babysit kvCORE.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think it’s well suited if you have too much time on your hands and feel the need to watch and monitor this like a toddler. If you’re alone and need to speak to someone, I think customer service will be great company because, in my experience, there’s always a problem. In my experience, they will get back to you with some useless advice, or comment that doesn’t help in any way, but at least you have someone to talk to. I think if you generally hate yourself and need to feel worse, this program will help with that too!

Do not use this company. kvCORE will tell you all the great things it can do to get you to sign up then not deliver anything close. This is a product much better suited for large enterprise brokerages but they will tell you it's great for smaller brokerages. Then they try to get you to scale your company. The articles they write on your social media are poorly written with many paragraphs just repeatedly cut and pasted. Any complaints are met with "we don't write the articles and have no control over the content". The communications to any leads are so poorly communicated that you will start to receive 1 star ratings and reviews. I was promised an account manager to help me set up my website, no one contacted me for over 1.5 months when I begin to ask to cancel the subscription. There is dismal communication with anyone other than their chat reps, who will basically tell you anything. Their so called proprietary lead system that allows you to market listings to other states will only get you angry callers who never contacted you and have no interest in your listings. The most communication I received from them is you are locked in for one year and need to make sure you pay your monthly fees.

CMA, Lead generation, etc is what it's for. I don't use it anymore than I need to. Fortunately I'm not required to to use it. But it's provided by my brokerage. I wish it was user friendly. I pay to use it as part of my monthly desk dues. I get my leads out of kvCORE & take those elsewhere.

Pros

  • Not one thing!
  • It sends unwanted canned responses to potential clients that you haven't approved. You must figure out how to use it to make them stop. This was day 1.
  • If you like to learn using many many different videos to learn a product, then this maybe for you.

Cons

  • As costly as I'm told kvCOREis for our brokerage, perhaps a training done done by a real live kvCORE trainer would be an excellent start.
  • Having kvCORE up where the different components can be used separately. It very all-or-nothing now.
  • Make it more user friendly.

Likelihood to Recommend

I can't name one thing I like about using kvCORE. It has so many moving parts. This was what was offered by my brokerage & the training is all via long online prerecorded training sessions. I gave them many hours before I decided it would be more advantageous to take my leads & not use any part of kvCORE.

KVCore has been a vital part of our company for several years. We use it to manage all of business leads, customers, clients and our sphere of influence. It is very easy to miss out on an opportunity to do business with someone when you get busy in real estate. KVCore helps to prevent missed opportunities by automating some communications so agents don't drop the ball. In addition we use it to prompt tasks and manual follow up to add the human touch. Not only does it help prevent lost opportunities, it help create opportunities that might not otherwise have materialized.

kvCORE completely changed how I do business. It has helped me take my business to the next level by helping me streamline my business. It can take a while to get everything up and running, but if you hunker down and knock it out, you will be up and running in no time. I am so happy with everything the software has to offer. Not to mention, the support team is absolutely fabulous.

I use kvCORE as my primary customer relationship management solution. I also use it as a hub for my marketing campaigns as well. It is good for mass text, and mass emails and you can even send video over it which is a very nice feature to have. I would recommend it as the best CRM software for REALTORS.

  • Artificial intelligence is very intuitive.
  • The mass texting and email is very effective especially when you use hashtags.
  • The Squeeze pages are easy to make and link to your social media.
  • The search capabilities within the software work very well.

Cons

  • The artificial intelligence sometimes says things an agent wouldn't say.
  • The system doesn't verify phone numbers well enough.
  • The prices for some services to export marketing are a little pricey.

Likelihood to Recommend

Two times I got a house sold because the AI hooked the person to start conversing. It is shocking when you see it happen. The daily disbursement (out of our MLS feed) of houses that are based on criteria chosen by the user. People love that. A linear record of all transactions with the client is visible via a scroll bar.
