LightCater

LightCater is a cloud-based catering and event management platform for small and midsize caterers, banquet halls, restaurants, hotels, and clubs. It supports the event lifecycle through customer relationship management and lead tracking, an event calendar with double-booking warnings, catering menus and packages, branded online proposals, contracts with electronic signatures, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), function sheets, invoicing, and online card payments. Information carries between stages to reduce duplicate data entry.

Optional modules add 2D and 3D floor plans, embeddable booking forms, lead management, QuickBooks and Xero synchronization, bulk email marketing, table reservations, restaurant point of sale, recipe and food-cost management, and an AI assistant for drafting emails, scoring leads, and identifying follow-up tasks. Customer-facing documents and emails support English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish.

LightCater runs in a web browser and requires no local installation. Pricing starts at $39 per month, with a 14-day trial that does not require a credit card. The platform is developed by Pxier Services Inc., a hospitality software company with offices in Canada, the United States, Europe, and South Africa.
