My company helps with IT services for other companies. MXToolbox is a tool for quickly diagnosing email or DNS problems. It is a tool that is used almost every day.

For example, a problem with the customer with the delivery of e-mails. MxToolBox you can check how the domain is set (SPF, etc.) and if the server's IP is not blacklisted.

We mainly use MXToolBox to verify external DNS records for our various clients, and on occasion, check for email, domain blacklist when there is a client experiencing email bounce back or related email issues.

The site/product is well suited for a quick and free tool to diagnose any first-level external DNS and/or email-related issues. The monitoring tool and reports is a good first line of alerting when an email issue arises, so it can be dealt with in a timely manner, as a free service

Quick verification of changes and proofs of issues. Great for nearly any kind of systems administrator from beginner to advanced.

MXToolBox is an invaluable tool for my position as Network Administrator. I use this service at least weekly to verify valid Domains when we are having problems with email delivery to a specific destination. I also use the service often to check current blacklists and see if a company or domain has been found there. I test email health with a service provided here to help me determine what is happening with failed deliveries.

We had a scenario where one company could not send us an email, our spam filter was unable to resolve and therefore deemed it greylisted. With MXToolBox I was able to determine their DMARC was not set up correctly with their provider causing this and helped them see the reason for failure with a short report from MXToolBox, giving them some guidance as to how to resolve it themselves.

It is a great tool in terms to help you to start up your email domain solutions. It can do a health checkup on your email domain; if you don't have prior knowledge on DMARC and SPF this will help you to check that your email is complaint also can speed up the process on your spam filter.

Professionals or consultants dealing specifically on DNS and Email projects can take support from Mxtoolbox while submitting any information to their clients. There's no need to reinvent the wheel and Mxtoolbox results do help network engineers and help steer their decisions towards problem rectification.

It is primarily used as an external checker for DNS related items. For instance, when we would need to make changes to the organizaitons SPF, we would utilize MXToolBox's SPF checker before committing our changes to external DNS. It was also heavily utilized as a troubleshooting tool whenever we had issues from outside the organization.

MX Toolbox is suited for any DNS verification and email related troubleshooting. It is the first place I go when I suspect a blacklist is affecting mail flow. It is also great for analyzing email headers. Besides that, I use it to gauge global DNS propagation when I make changes to external DNS.

It is used to investigate legitimacy of suspicious emails. Whenever I need to dig deeper into an email message to understand where it was sent from, check DNS authentication status and overall validity of email I leverage several of the tools within MxToolBox arsenal.

It's really useful for basic investigation of email headers, determining latency with email traffic and sometimes pinpoint bottleneck source. Additionally, I really like how you can pivot from one test to the next within the site to expand on your investigation, so I can review MX records then review SPF and DMARC etc.

I think it is very good at checking for IP blacklists and the DNS results within a domain name, but in some cases the amount you pay monthly may not be worth the price.
