Concur Travel and Expense

Doesn't respond, cards and all users are deactivated but we continuously have a balance.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

At first, Navan (TripActions) was amazing. Managing company expenses internally became easier and faster. However, we felt like it had too much for us. We tried to leave Navan, turned off all our employees physical cards and deleted every user account except for our accountants and C-suites. After we requested to close out our account, we never heard back despite reaching out 4 times. Then we started seeing charges to our employees' cards that we had deactivated. Does it make sense that deactivated cards are being used to make thousands of dollars worth of transactions? When we addressed this issue, Navan said our account manager will be in touch (who was supposed to be in touch when we requested to close our account). It's been 6 months since we first requested the close and we still haven't heard from anyone; our cards that are "deactivated" are still seeing transactions even after we removed the cards from every vendor. Please use another provider such as Brex for your company.

Cons

  • Lack of communication
  • Backend error of cards and users

TripActions: the best way to book travel!

Pros

  • Straightforward, user-friendly interface
  • Compiles all airline options for best selection

Cons

  • Make invoice/expense options more streamlined.
  • Improve the ability to book the same trip as colleagues.

Return on Investment

  • There's been great ROI! Empowering employees to handle their own travel is great.
  • The only negative is that when concerns arise while traveling, it's more challenging to get in contact with someone directly. A dedicated travel agent helps with that.
