Overall Satisfaction with TripActions

TripActions is used across our entire organization. In the past, we had a travel agency that helped book and manages travel for our company. Still, since moving to TripActions, it's empowered employees to handle and manage their own business travel with an easy-to-use platform. However, it also gives our admins the option to book trips for senior leadership.

Pros

  • Straightforward, user-friendly interface
  • Compiles all airline options for best selection

Cons

  • Make invoice/expense options more streamlined.
  • Improve the ability to book the same trip as colleagues.
  • There's been great ROI! Empowering employees to handle their own travel is great.
  • The only negative is that when concerns arise while traveling, it's more challenging to get in contact with someone directly. A dedicated travel agent helps with that.
We used Corporate Traveler in the past. It was nice to have a dedicated travel agent, but with an organization, our size TripActions has been the best option!
Customer support is usually available immediately for questions. When they book things for you, I feel it takes a bit longer than just doing it yourself.

TripActions is great for most things! Last minute work trips or planning things out in advance. Might be less appropriate for large grounds of employees taking the same trip. The ability to book hotel, airfare, rental car etc. is really vital.
