Great Out-of-the-Box Features, but Customizability is Limited.
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Oracle Dyn Email is a product that is being used across our entire organization. Almost every single department in our organization sends bulk emails outside of the organization: whether it is to suppliers, investors, consumers, or website visitors. We needed an interface to efficiently manage all these composed emails, and time their delivery. Oracle Dyn Email allows us to achieve this goal.
Pros
- Setting up Oracle Dyn Email is hassle-free and easy.
- Customer Support responds quickly to our queries. They are usually able to remedy our problems and queries within the first email.
- Insightful Analytics Post-Delivery. We are able to see whether or not users decided to open up our emails, and tweak our email headers accordingly.
Cons
- Email reporting functionality is fairly basic. Would like to see more advanced analytics implemented in the future.
- UI is outdated. The look of Oracle Dyn Email hasn't been updated for a while, and it isn't very appealing to use. In addition, navigating between options is fairly slow.
- Integration with third-party email templating engines like Litmus would be nice to have.

Oracle Dyn Email is well-suited for organizations that need to create, manage, and analyze bulk email campaigns from existing email templates. If your organization's business objectives are fulfilled by the out-of-the-box features of Oracle Dyn Email, then it is a perfect solution for you. On the other hand, if you think you will be needing more advanced features, I would suggest looking for another solution.
