Great little contact tool that runs itself.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have been an OutboundEngine user for at least 8 years long before staying top of mind could be fully automated but I continue to use this service because I have tangible results that it is much more than just a "touch". I attribute actual tranactions to this tool and will use as long as I am a Broker/Realtor.

Pros

  • Provides information of value
  • Not specifically Real Estate makes it more valuable
  • Reminds my data base that I am always there for them.
  • Keeps me and my contact information in front of them

Cons

  • automatic transfer of new leads would be awesome and I believe was a service they used to offer
  • gives my data base easy access to me and all of my credentials
  • great reading materials and exculsive data based

Likelihood to Recommend

it runs itself and I have recommended it to new agents often. Agents that don't necessarily have content and OutboundEngine has been doing what so many others are now doing for a very long time

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

OutboundEngine provides content for my social media outlets. They provide consistency across a few channels. The quality of the graphics and ease of use attracted me. I don't need to think about it, just checking in to oversee and keep up my end of the database. It is very simple to use and i have had good response from customer service.

Pros

  • Articles are written well
  • Subject matter is very appropriate
  • Graphics are good quality
  • Customer service is willing to do more if I ask

Cons

  • The links to social media seem to be UNLINKED very frequently
  • Maybe links to more social media outlets?
  • I wish more people stayed engaged but I don't think that is on OutboundEngine

Likelihood to Recommend

I know that some people have assistants or graphics teams or marketing agencies but I am a one person show and truly appreciate some things being done for me! I would recommend OutboundEngine to anyone that wants a newsletter style communication on their behalf OFTEN to their past present and future client base aka sphere of influence.

We send a newsletter that periodically gets sent to all customers, but we also make custom emails to send in bulk as well as posting on social media

Pros

  • updates on posts and emails
  • quick response
  • pretty easy to use

Cons

  • Have a direct number to a domestic servicer rather than an international call center
  • easier way to access customer base for custom mailing
  • Not have to wait to get a call the next day

Likelihood to Recommend

This is definitely a good way to send bulk email and not get your company email blocked as spam.

Outbound Engine helps you stay RELEVANT

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

OE allows me to stay relevant with my clients. In the Insurance and Finance world many times you meet with someone and then may never meet with them again. OE keeps me current with them while providing relevant information related to this industry. My clients appreciate that I don't bombard them and it's easy becuase OE does all the work.

Pros

  • Newsletter with multiple categories
  • Social Media Posts
  • Engages my clients

Cons

  • Interface of their back office website
  • Giving the user more ability to personalize their newsletter
  • Allow the users to hand select some of the content monthly

Likelihood to Recommend

OE is well suited if you are in the Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Financial Planning, Disability, and Medicare industries as it provides a content creator for you and sends it out to your contacts on a monthly basis. That makes it convenient for you the end user to stay top of mind with your client base but not overwhelm them with SPAM. That said, it could be a lot better if they started to drill down into these areas and provide more in depth content in some areas.

Save time and stay TOP OF MIND! It doesn't get any easier than OutboundEngine.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use OutboundEngine to keep in touch with my sphere/database. I have been a Realtor for over 18 years and it is challenging to do business while consistently marketing to my database. OutboundEngine takes this role on for me and provides valuable data to my sphere and allows me to see who is opening and viewing the bi-monthly newsletters. In addition, OutboundEngine makes is super easy for me to contact those who are most actively viewing my newsletters with just a couple of clicks. Not to mention the social media posting which keeps me engaged with my social media followers.

Pros

  • Provides quality content
  • Keeps is simple for us busy folks
  • Offers great support including monthly follow up phone calls

Cons

  • Honestly I can't think of any. This is a very seamless system.

Likelihood to Recommend

OutboundEngine does a referral campaign and I've been able to close a couple of deals based on getting in touch with people who engage with this campaign and state they could use my services in the next 6 months. This is a great follow up tool for those you may or may not know are going to be needing your services.

Is OutboundEngine really worth it?

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use it as a CRM and social media management for posting useful articles. I also use it to maintain constant, consistent contact with past clients with the added value of providing information to them regarding the product that I sell, real estate.

Pros

  • Article content
  • 1:1 Direct monthly technical help with a professional from the company
  • OBE Reps are always looking for ways to keep my internet footprint relavent and active
  • Consistency with branding and content

Cons

  • Price, especially after the first year of commitment. Other services cost less.
  • CRM user friendliness could be improved, specifically finding settings to change is often troublesome for me and uploading multiple new contacts without the help of a rep. I need to enter each one individually to do it on my own which is time consuming when you're using multiple CRMs.
  • I emailed for help between my montly touchpoints and haven't received any response.
  • The need to connect and disconnect to social media platforms.

Likelihood to Recommend

Having an automated system keep me and my name in front of my past clients is what they do best. Client retention appears to be a problem since many have inactivated their accounts since activating them and therefore reducing how many followers I have with only a small portion of them actually engaging with the platform.

OUtbound Engine - Worth a clean and credible advertising shot!

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Outbound Engine has kept my professional social media sites hopping with fresh information and regular emails to my customer base regularly. They provide a wealth of timely and pertinent information as well as holiday greetings. They take the guesswork out of articles and uploads, freeing me to spend valuable time with clients and customers. Even my colleagues compliment the content.

Pros

  • Great articles related to the Real Estate industry and do-it-yourself tips too.
  • On-time holiday ecards.
  • Articles carefully targeted to my industry.

Cons

  • I do not like the use of drawings to attract new customers, and they have ignored my requests to eliminate that for my personal emails.
  • I do not like it when a competitor in my immediate market has the same posts. It cheapens the service or makes it appear that I am simply sharing another's post.

Likelihood to Recommend

As I mentioned above, I love that the articles remind others of the value of referrals in my industry, but I do not like the use of "drawings" as a means of asking for loyalty from old clients who are already very likely to recommend me to others. Otherwise, I have no issues.

Informative postings on Facebook and Linkedin

Pros

  • Consistently post quality information on my Facebook and Linkedin profiles
  • Emails beneficial information to my SOI, keeping me constantly engaged
  • Dependable service with follow-up from service reps

Cons

  • make it easier on how to link the postings to my website
  • better methods of getting leads

Likelihood to Recommend

Well suited for me to set-it and forget-it. I don't have to spend time doing this type of marketing. I trust their output.

Maybe less appropriate is that it is not a lead source. I wished it provided a better lead source.

Happy to have Outbound Engine

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use OutboundEngine for communication and education. It is a way to stay in touch with customers and inform them of how certain insurance covers them and works for them. It also creates a need if they see the articles have merit, and it is something that would protect them. It is also useful in that people can respond to the articles if they need something new, or need service on existing policy. I like the flexibility of OutboundEngine because we can add to articles or help make the message more clear. The people at OutboundEngine and good listeners and always ready to help.

Cons

  • Not sure all of the tools available
