Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using SendBird in our organization for charting with our users through the mobile app. We primary use it for sales and customer support departments. Its not that hard to implement or integrate with an existing mobile app. We can customise some of the features and user interface according to our requirements.

Pros

It has nice user interface
We don't have to face any downtime using SendBird
It has nice performance and great efficiency

Cons

It's support system is not that efficient
Documentation needs improvement
It's pricing is a little bit high comparing to other available options

Likelihood to Recommend

SendBird is well suited tool for those who are having sound technical knowledge and in-hand experience of app development and APIs. One might find it difficult to integrate if not having a technical team or a good technical background. Once implemented, using or management is not an issue. Startups having low budget might find it a little bit costier.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used SendBird instead of Stream.io to integrate a chat support experience into a health IT app.

Pros

Moderation around comments & chats.
SendBird UIKit was super helpful for the design team.
Our devs raved about the API documentation being so thorough & easy to follow.

Cons

Pricing can get expensive once you go over the 100 MAU limit for the Developer tier.

Likelihood to Recommend

I would absolutely recommend SendBird to others who are looking for a chat solution. I know it also has the ability to have in-app calls & video + a support product line, but for our use case, we only used it for a chat. In hindsight, it may have been better for us to use Stream.io instead given the limited needs we have but thought SendBird had better recognition & reliability when compared to Stream.io
