UiPath Process Mining is suitable if the time consumed by the process needs to be monitored step wise ,to evaluate time consumed by each module So that any process improvements can be introduced to ensure lead have for each transaction. Any redundant steps can be easily identified using the enhanced visual tools

We use process mining to allow us to identify processes with potential for either process improvement or automation. We also use it to help us identify blocks and bottlenecks in processes to allow us to provide answers to our clients in order for them to improve efficiency and/or save money.

Needs to grow in maturity in comparison to other vendors.
Document understanding accuracy can vary.
Set up can be complex.

document understanding, which is a key aspect of process mining, has its strengths and weaknesses. Its capability with handwritten or scanned documents is not there yet - compared to its competitors such as Abbyy. However, the integration with Uipath orchestrator and the studio is fantastic, plus its ability to integrate seamlessly with other applications.

UiPath is the one-stop solution for scraping and managing various information. Tracking traffic on Alexa developer console analytics and scraping the traffic data to a spreadsheet to a final deliverable insight to the boss, UiPath makes it easy to deliver daily reports and information on daily traffic and user engagement. We use UiPath as 1 out of 3 teams.

It is quite a large tool and we are happy to implement in our small business
UiPath may have room for improvement in jobs platform by proving their own job platform
Rest is okay with UiPath.

Likelihood to Recommend

UiPath Process Mining is well suited for small businesses as they have a community edition that is very easy to install and get started with. It's got a very user-friendly learning portal called the Academy.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We started to implement UiPath 2 years ago and it seems really helpful to us as well as other departments. This amazing tool helps us to automate some of our current manual processes which also assists to cut down human error and provide add-on services for our customers.

Pros

Download & upload documents from internal to external party.
Checking & retrieve documents as per customer request.
Update shipments info into external portal.
Shipment creation.

Cons

Debugging, once the bot gets stuck it does not highlight which steps it couldn't go through.
Sometimes we need to reinstall the Chrome extension.
In the UiPath platform, it should have a channel for users to suggest new functions to be in-built in the Activities panel, and which also allows users to monitor and discuss the topic with other users/developers of the software.

Likelihood to Recommend

UiPath is well suited for data managing, documentation, where everything is highly standard, less complicated. For those scenarios that the bot needs to encounter many different situations, it would not be a good place for UiPath.

UiPath is used within several departments at our clients. Mainly it is being using within their accounting, and operation departments within our clients. UiPath is used to automate processes to allow them to focus on value added activities. UiPath is an RPA platform that is flexible and has a great product road map.

Cons

Improve visualization of processes.
Works with more vendors in the space to enable clients to do more even with tools outside of UiPath.

It can however automate parts of processes that involve repetitive work and human judgement. The automate will need to be create in way to group the repetitive tasks together and then group human judgment tasks together to streamline the process.

We work daily with the UiPath application to manage all the documentation of our company. Through the UiPath panel, each user has real-time access to company documentation. Each user or project manager can automate the documentation process, involving other users. All this means that it is not necessary to manually enter the management of all our documentation. We mainly work with Excel, Word and SAP.

Pros

UiPath can automate any application (Citrix, .NET, HTML, Java, and Office), and is also compatible with Mainframe, SAP, Oracle, and many more systems.
There are no design flaws.
Efficiently manage a large number of users.
Integrated with office desk.
Easy to navigate.
Uipath technicians always respond in a short time to any problem.
Little loss of information when saving information.
Reduces documentation management times.

Cons

To improve from my point of view would be to improve the modules that we have integrated in the company.
Time consuming.

We control and use UiPath as a tool for job control of all our users. Through the application (through a QR device) we control our work schedules. In each department, we have a QR reader so that each worker can control their schedules. We currently use it remotely through the UiPath app.

Pros

It works precisely, reproducing 100% of what we need, using Java, Flash, HTML, Silverlight and AJAX technologies without asking me for scripts or any code.
It is a trusted platform and although its launch is recent, it is constantly being updated.
Its design is functional. I design the frames to my liking, and we personalize our activities. Great ability to carry out personalized activities that we can develop from Visual Studio in a comprehensive and easy way.
UiPath interacts with our users to take their suggestions into account.

Cons

UiPath compatibility with Excel, integration with Citrix (virtualization platform) and SAP is not perfect.
More constant product updates are missing.

UiPath adapts to medium and large companies that want to reduce their workloads. It can be applied in logistics, data management, construction companies, and companies with many workers. It reduces manual workloads by automating them.

We use UiPath Process Mining across our entire company on a daily basis since we are a dedicated RPA implementation company.
This tool offers us insight into the impact and collaboration of our back-end RPA processes which in return enables us to make better business estimations and decisions to achieve our target ROIs on these RPA implementations.
It's highly visualized interface and feedback has improved the communication of and trust in data across our team which has consequently increased our hourly productivity ratings.
The lack of data to justify certain performance aspects of our RPA tools and robots before justified the importance of this tool along the chain of implementing an RPA approach in an organization.

Pros

The ease of use of this tool and the engaging UiPath Forum community make the cost very low.
Its accommodation of both minimally, averagely and highly skilled companies is a plus.
With low time and monetary adoption costs, the ROI is really up there.

Cons

It seems to be offered as a stand-alone product by UiPath which tends to increase the number of dedicated platforms that in-house developers have to mind. Integration into one of its already existing platforms would have been the best. Nonetheless, this does not impact its performance in any way, but rather the productivity of the user in the long run.

Likelihood to Recommend

UiPath Process Mining is most suited in tracking back-end application and tools' performance compared to front-end application performance. This tool will offer more accuracy in the estimations of the RPA strategy ROIs, even though a plain RPA strategy could go a long way in offering insight into this. It is not suitable in a process comprised of many integrated platforms.
