We use UZIO for everything. Payroll, scheduling, etc. I am in the application daily and it’s so user friendly. From onboarding to paperwork for our new employees. It’s great. Recently they updated the home page to include a hub of issues to address and that has been a game changer. I would definitely recommend UZIO.

Scheduling is extremely easy and user friendly.

Payroll has become so much easier for us.

Creating schedule templates.
Extra colors for scheduling.
Easier policy admissions.

Before we had Uzio we used 2 different apps for onboarding and scheduling. Now we are able to do it all in one place which is extremely convenient. Anytime someone needs to sign paperwork, it’s so easy to find what they are missing. I really can’t recommend UZIO enough. 10/10

We used UZIO for our payroll provider as an Amazon DSP. The price is phenomenal and the service was nice. We never ended up going live due to their scheduling platform needing a complete overhaul through the app. It was really rough compared to all the great features they do have.

I think they are great for compliance tracking and having a clean interface. It is an easy site to access and look around. If you want your team scheduling handled here as well, they need to improve that greatly. Overall good bang for your buck.

I personally use UZIO as an employee and an employer. It’s easy to toggle back-and-forth between the two. the system is user-friendly for both myself and my employees. It’s easy to keep track of my time off as well as approved or deny their time off and keep track of their timesheets. We love using UZIO! Rarely running into issues with it. when we first started using it there were some glitches and hangups, but it seems that those have been worked out and I do not have any complaints as of late. It has helped my employees stay on track and has helped with accountability in staying within their hours.

at the beginning of the year sometimes there are errors in accumulated time off per employee

I think from a benefits administration stand point Uzio does a great job. Integrations these days are important from an ease and execution standpoint. Although it does integrate with the carriers, it could be a quicker process if it integrated with our payroll system. We currently use Toast payroll, as many restaurant groups do, so that may be something to work on.

We use Uzio as our benefit platform , it allows an easier sign up for benefits and during open enrollment.

Pros

It's easy to see the plans and what your signing up for
You can report qualified life changes and it processes it
It creates less work for the HR team most of the time

Cons

It lags behind enrollment changes or new enrollments causing deduction issues
employees get confused for the sign up/sign in process
its not mobile friendly

I love the upgrade from our previous system that allows me to pull accurate costs/hours analysis. With this system I can see exactly how much and how long my staff is taking at their scheduled posts, which takes some guess work out of my day. However, I do have some issues with the user interface of the site, mostly with some clunky popups that are impossible to disengage from without reloading the entire page. Very grateful for the weekly shot at how much my labor spend per week is as well.

User interface can sometimes be clunky even on desktop.
App often glitches and loses clockins/outs
Overall good design but could me more intuitive.

There are some issues with user interface, which I am more than comfortable in sharing screenshots. We have an issue where most of my team does not collect PTO per their hiring status, and when hovering over the schedule the popup alerting me to the lack of PTO will stay in the way, floating uselessly while I struggle to view the page around it. We have also recently had an issue with glitches after the most recent update but have already reached out to the service team to get that remedied.

After having a horrific experience with a well known massive payroll company, we decided to give UZIO a try and it was definitely the right choice for us. We use UZIO to pay our American employees including taxes and benefits, and it has been great. The team at UZIO helped get us all set up and from there it has been a breeze to use.

Integration - It'd be nice to integrate it with Office 365
Forms tools - Need more customizable forms
