Overall Satisfaction with Abila MIP Fund Accounting
Mostly only used in the accounting department for accounts payable, payroll, electronic timesheet system, HR, journal entries, cash receipts, bank recs, reports, etc. I use it to track grants and to be able to report on grants.
- Bank Reconciliations are easy to complete
- Electronic timesheet system makes payroll very simplified
- I am not good at building reports and there should be more options for already built reports.
- Currently I am unable to email reports out of the system, not sure if it is an IT issue or because of the Windows upgrade that we just had.
- It was a great improvement from moving from QuickBooks to MIP. Previously we did not have control over changes that took place in the software. We now have much better controls. It did take a while to get adjusted to the software.
This has been a great benefit to be able to manage multiple funds which then we group into departments.
