Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are use acquia to develop a solution for an Hospital, which requires a full redesign of their site, and we decided to use drupal as our core and acquia as the platform to launch it, I have to say that acquia's platform are easy and quick to implement, and the service they offered is really good, and I have to point that the service is good, technically talking, they sometimes took time to solve issues, but generally the experience was good, I recommend acquia as a partner if you use drupal as your core

Pros and Cons

Site studio is a good no-code solution
Acquia cloud is a must have if you need reliability and security
Their service is good

Site studio in it's newer versions has to check issues and provide faster feedback
Need more updated documentation

Return on Investment

That is out of my scope

Time to Market

Site studio has a quick way to set all ready in a way the users can see results asap, this is important if you have to give results in a matter of time, also, is important to point that with the documentation provide, we can set components and stuff like that very quickly

Scalability

In my experience, I think that acquia is so scalable, in a way we use enough environments to move code and information, and have enough flexibility to do such things as publish sites to the client quickly, and work at the same time improving our code without interruting current operations on the site

Likelihood to Recommend

As I just have one experiencie with acquia, I have to say that is enough flexible for most cases that involves large setos of information, as corporate web sites and so on, not recommended for e-commerce platforms, as drupal doesn't have a feasible solution for this scope, and the current solutions don't meet enough requirements for this.
