Overall Satisfaction with Acronis Cyber Protect

We use Scale HC3 Hypervisor and Acronis Cyber Protect is the only backup program that can backup VMs natively. We are forced to use it to backup VMs.
  • In my opinion, there is nothing it does well

  • I believe the support is the worst. In my experience, they delay you for weeks asking for logs they never analyze to tell you 4 months later that the bug is known since 6 months.
  • In my experience, backup replication does not work reliable, but does not give any warings or alarms. We found out that we were missing 30-60% of servers on tapes!

  • I believe there are missing servers on tape.
  • In my opinion, hundreds of hours wasted with useless support

Veeam is gold, but it can't back up the VMs using snapshots on Scale hypervisor. In my opinion, Acronis Cyber Protect can't do anything right that Veeam can do with ease.

I believe this is the worst backup program I have ever used. In my opinion, the support is catastrophic. In my opinion, the product quality is catastrophic. I believe you can't rely on backups to be written on tape.

Acronis Cyber Protect Support

In my experience, support calls are going on for months(!) with required logs that get never analyzed just to tell you that the bug is already know since befor you open the ticket.

In my experience, there is no premium support. In my opinion, there is only very very bad support.
Yes - In my experience, it generally takes 3 weeks to 6 months to get the answer that the bug is known already since a long time and the dozens of mails and logs were just used to stall you in my opinion.
In my opinion, not once.

If everthing worked as expected the usability would be ok. But its far from working in my experience.
