Cloud backups for customers - server and desktop, ensuring the protection of data.
  • Version control on files - we can restore older files no problem.
  • Encryption of data - customers data is protected POPIA.
  • On time backups ensures data is secure.
  • Auto update on agents does not always succeed.
  • Recovery of data for a single instance installation cannot be done.
  • Effortless control of multiple tenants.
  • Stable backups to ensure happy clients.
  • As part of managed service contracts, it makes my company able to give a one-stop-shop service.
  • Negative is the fact you have to explain to customers backup costs when they believe google drive and one drive does backup.
Acronis is more suited to business backups of servers than Backblaze with does cater to servers.

Backup of laptops is done wherever the client goes as long as they have internet it makes the job easier. Managing the backup remotely we can ensure config changes without logging into the user's desktop. Some of our servers are not accessible via conventional ways but we can configure the backup and ensure stability.
