Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We are a recycling production facility. We use Acumatica for tracking production data, cost accounting, reporting, inventory, receiving, shipping, and customer service. Acumatica provides us with a source of truth, and a single place to rely on data. Historically we had used Excel for a lot of things, and we are slowing starting to use the power of Acumatica.

Pros

  • Connecting to OData
  • Interaction with 3rd party apps.

Cons

  • Provide more resources related to data relationships. (i.e. if I do x, it impacts y and z)
  • As a start up, it has helped us get to better data. We have a long way to go, but the tool is appropriate.
Have not used AI in Acumatica.

Still trying to figure this out. We aren't using the tool as well as we could yet, but we are on the way.
I work in the plastics recycling industry. Acumatica allows us to track all RM's, byproducts, and FG's. It also is heavily used by accounting, and they often find errors by using the built in tools in Acumatica.

Would you buy Acumatica again?

Yes

Well suited for many organizations. We only have a few RM and FG types, and it works well. I've seen that it also works well with companies that have a lot of variance in their products, which may require custom materials, etc.

Some of the modules are less appropriate for us, because we do one blanket PO per month, to one vendor. Same goes for the sales module.
