Overall Satisfaction with Adaptive Suite

Adaptive Planning is used for budgeting for all three entities within the ElectriCities world.

Pros

  • The drag and drop report builder is very user friendly and flexible.
  • The ability to add Office Connect and use Microsoft Office products as an extension of Adaptive in order to build professional reports in real time is great!
  • The implementation was extremely smooth.

Cons

  • Adaptive is currently testing an Excel interface for their sheets. Looking forward to having this as a tool.
  • Time spent on budget data entry should be reduced. We are currently in the first budget cycle with Adaptive.
Adaptive was more flexible, able to be maintained without heavy IT involvement, cost effective, had no additional hardware requirements, and since it is a cloud platform, updates are automatic.
Adaptive Planning is very well suited to companies needing flexibility in analysis and reporting.
