Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

We make a lot of documents and PDFs files and Adobe Acrobat helps a lot with keeping everything organized. We're able to fill out form fields easily, sign documents, and merge documents together that make the process seamless.

Pros

  • Merging/Combining files
  • Filling out form fields
  • Requesting e-signatures
  • Converting files

Cons

  • Response time/loading times
  • Subscription cost
  • Useless AI features
  • The cost of the subscription turns people away and forces people to look elsewhere. Many people in my organization don't pay for Adobe Acrobat so they can't use it the same way that I do since it is included in my subscription.
  • I've been able to use Adobe Acrobat personally and within my organization, which has helped with document efficiency. I'm always filling out forms and it makes it so much easier.
  • I wish there was a better way to annotate documents. The comment feature doesn't work as well as I'd like it to.
  • Ease of Use
I did not specifically purchase Adobe Acrobat, but it was included in my general subscription to Adobe programs. I was happy to have it since it makes converting files so easy and because I work a lot with PDFs and other documents, it makes it much easier to combine files and use form fields.
I have no experience with the security of Adobe Acrobat. It wasn't something I was aware of that Adobe Acrobat provided, but I would like to know more about this and what the technology consists of. How does Adobe Acrobat protect it's users from data breaches? I'd be curious to know more of that and maybe Adobe Acrobat can provide more details about that.
I used iLovePDF when I was having trouble with converting a PDF to a jpg file in Adobe Acrobat. The jpg file kept coming out pixelated and low quality, but when I used iLovePDF, the jpg file came out high resolution and so I will sometimes use that program if I'm having issues with Adobe Acrobat.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

No

Adobe Acrobat is primarily useful for viewing and filling out documents, converting files, and requesting e-signatures. However, it’s not ideal for tasks outside of document-related work unless file conversion is needed. Many people struggle with this app because it requires a paid subscription, which is quite expensive. As a result, I can only use it for personal reasons and cannot share certain files within my organization, which is a bit of a problem.
