Adobe Acrobat the best tools for publishers
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
We use Adobe Acrobat in our organization to create and publish the weekly newspaper, as it is one of the best tools that we use at The Corsair Newspaper to get our paper archived and shared to our readers online. We have been using Adobe Acrobat since the late 90s, and it is always a plus when our student contributors know how to use the program and layer the articles and photos. It is imperative that we have the best tools in the business to create and share our final product. The Corsair is weekly, student-run newspaper that services not only the Santa Monica College campus, but also the surrounding communities. With all the news and all the advances in technology, it's best to have a product like Adobe Acrobat that is reliable and has been around for decades, and this Photoshop and Premiere are the main reasons why we are here at Adobe Max, to see what other programs and apps from Adobe and we can't wait to discover more! All in all, Adobe Acrobat is one of our best tools at the Corsair and we can't recommend it enough, even if it's only for reading. PDFs (the format we use to edit and share our weekly issues.
Pros
- Editing PDFs
- Creating PDFs
- Easy to read, share and publish PDFs
Cons
- So far, for the true and tried ways that we use Adobe Acrobat, we can't see any more improvements, as the ease to use makes it simple every week
- Ease of Use
As mentioned before, Adobe Acrobat is used to edit, share and publish our school newspaper so having something reliable and easy to learn and to use is one of the best aspects of Adobe Acrobat. We can't see doing our newspaper any other way!
We do not deal as a school newspaper with these issues or haven't yet, we have a robust security program in our school computers, so this is not an issue we as publishers take into account.
