Most of the documentation across the organization primarily resides in the form of PDF documents which requires a reliable pdf reader like Adobe Acrobat Reader along with functionalities like annotation and commenting by multiple people at the same time.
- Comes with a cloud storage so that documents can be uploaded to cloud and can be accessed from anywhere and with any device.
- Integrates seamless to upload or open documents with other cloud storage services like OneDrive, Dropbox and Box.
- Tab view mode is one of the best features. Allows multiple pdf documents to be opened in a single application window without crashing the application.
- Doesn't allow to save the PDF as an image which is a requirement at a lot of sites to upload documents.
- There is no option to sort recently opened documents by date modified or date created.
- Basic functionalities like erasing and cropping are missing.
- Ability to upload documents to the cloud and share the documents across and outside the organization.
- Multiple people can access and work on the same shared copy which allows people to work in parallel and saves time.
- Documents are compressed which means less storage requirement on cloud.
- We still need to invest in another software for PDF document editing and creation.
- Employees can open PDF documents on their mobile devices as well which avoids unnecessary delays in actions.
- PDF documents can be signed from within the reader which helps avoid the cycle or printing, signing and then scanning the document back to PDF.
