Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate Prime

I am using Adobe Captivate Prime to create tutorial videos for fellow workers and customers. It allows me to demonstrate what I am doing on my computer screen (via screen record), as well as add other video clips to my walkthrough. It is currently only being used in the product management department, but there is a chance for other uses within our company.
  • Adobe products are reliable and well known throughout the industry
  • The technical support was very helpful
  • The user interface is straight forward and simple
  • The only problem I had was regarding my subscription and billing, which was easily resolved by the technical support.
  • The Adobe technical support team was borderline annoying in how often they contacted me, after my issue was resolved.
  • So far I have used Captivate mainly for internal processes and training, so there has not been a true ROI.
  • I will continue to use captivate, and search for additional areas to implement the software into a sales / client facing platform.
Captivate is very easy to use, and I have not had any trouble creating tutorial videos. I have not yet tried to train any other team members, but based on my experience with the software, I do not anticipate any problems in translating what I know about Captivate to other members of my team.
I had quite a bit of back and forth with the Adobe sales and technical support teams. They were always very supportive and helpful, which I have come to expect from any Adobe product. I will say that after my issues were resolved, the follow up customer support became too persistent; bordering on annoying.
I had an overall positive experience with my Learning Solutions Manager, Jyotsna (Jay) Raghuvanshi. He was helpful, and followed up several times to ensure the issues I had were resolved.

Employee Reskilling
I only have experience with iMovie before using Adobe Captivate Prime, and I know that both programs are aimed at very different cliental. Captivate was much more robust, and allowed for many more functions (some of which I am still discovering how to use). The training and tutorials provided by Adobe far exceed anything that iMovie offered.
Captivate is very well suited for creating tutorial videos for both internal processes and client facing multi-media.
