Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate Prime
Our non-profit has two primary services, a professional training workshop for oncology professionals who want to learn how to use our group support program for children who have a parent and the six-week support group itself, called CLIMB®, Children's Lives Include Moments of Bravery. Because of COVID 19 and the vulnerability of cancer patients during this pandemic, we have been forced to move both programs online. Adobe Captivate Prime is the LMS we have chosen for this delivery.
- Price.
- Customer support.
- Administrator, instructor, learner interface is not intuitive.
- Semantics get in the way of finding solutions.
- The black look of the software is off-putting.
- Not being able to re-name an existing course is a true weakness of the system.
- Our ZOOM integration is not working, however, support is working with us to solve this problem.
- Having an online option is imperative.
- Initial enrollments in our online program are double what our in-person trainings have been.
Yes. Help with our ZOOM integration. What is a dedicated Customer Success Manager?? First I heard of it.
Cost was the deciding factor.

Adobe Captivate Prime Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Yes - Design, content development, loaded modules as they were completed. Enrolled learners as modules were completed.
Not sure - COVID created an opportunity we capitalized on. It wasn't change management, it was finding the best way to deal with a crisis.
- Learning curve
- We rolled somethings out incorrectly and then had to go back and fix them. Made us look pretty amatuerish
Adobe Captivate Prime Support

No. I'm sure it was too costly
Yes - NO. ZOOM Integration did not go well. We have to use a work around. We are told a fix is in the works, but that doesn't help us now.

- Reports are less than helpful
- Getting courses into catalogues is confusing and not straighforward
- The learner dashboard is confusing to learners. The courses you are registered to take should be front and center, not that stupid set of headlights
- The ZOOM integration does not work, though we were told it would integrate
- Getting faculty into courses is not straight forward
- shall I go on?
Yes, but I don't use it
