Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate Prime
Adobe Captivate Prime is for the entire organization. It is an affordable tool for employee training management and assignment. We have our own LMS for external training/learning, the needs for internal and external training we realized are different. Adobe Captivate Prime better fits our internal training needs, to assign task, to track and report.
- Report function is the number feature I like the most.
- Different roles can sign in to manage different parts, works great for different supervision levels.
- Also like the assigning feature, though there is room for improvement.
- Assigning or managing training for new employees can be cumbersome.
- Mapping out their current training record with a pre-determined skill inventory is not possible.
- Affordability.
I didn't get to connect with a customer success manager, if I remembered right. I just signed up with a free trial, and started using it on my own, without support. To be honest, providing technical support on software Adobe sells has not been Adobe's forte. Will it be better in the future? It's a question, sorry for not providing an answer.
The price or the affordability is the first factor. Most of all, Adobe Captivate Prime better fits our needs. The other tool we evaluated can better accommodate the onboarding process. However it also has other functions we would never use but end up paying for. The interface design of Adobe Captivate Prime is also nicer, more of the contemporary style.
