Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Express

I use Adobe Express for EVERYTHING!!! I use it to create flyers and posters for upcoming safety training. I use it to create thumbnails for my videos on YouTube. I use it to create monthly or quarterly newsletters. I use it to create graphics to add to flyers, posters, thumbnails, newsletters, and emails.

It is so easy to use and they even have a huge variety of (free) templates for any of the above items I mentioned. Editing is a breeze and the learning curve is not as steep as say learning to use Photoshop, Illustrator, or other Adobe's more robust programs.

Obviously, there are many better templates in the paid version. But don't let the sway your thinking about Adobe Express. If you can think of it, Adobe Express can help you create it.

They even have an AI assist. You can start typing your prompt, and AE will give you 4 examples. Don't like what AE created? Add more specific details to your prompt to get better results.

Pros

  • Posters
  • Templates
  • Newsletters
  • Graphics
  • Cool text options at the click of a button
  • Easy to edit your creation or the templates provided
  • Easy to download or share your creations

Cons

  • Text manipulation (creating text on a curve or around a shape)
  • The video creation tool is a little clunky and needs improvement
  • The AI version is not as good as other AI graphic generating programs
  • There are so many templates for whatever you want to create
  • Their text suggestion tool makes it easy to quickly change the font in any of your text boxes
  • The ability to add your own photos (or videos) to your creation is limitless
  • You don't have to have a degree in graphic design to create beautiful graphics
The templates you will find in even the free version of Adobe Express seem limitless. If you need a poster, AE offers so many different styles and sizes to fit your needs.

Sometimes, I just peruse the templates until something pops out that I want to use for my next creation. These templates look so professional, and they are easy to edit. Don't like the title of the template? Simply start your creation, and you will be amazed at how professional your creations can become with very little editing.
It is almost crazy how EASY it is to use AE. Sometimes if I'm bored, I can peruse their templates until I am inspired to create something magical. Every step along the way, AE is there to make your creation real and very professional. Additionally, your creations are easy to share or download to your computer. You can even collaborate with other users on something you created.
It's weird that you mentioned Adobe Spark because that is what it used to be called before Adobe renamed it Adobe Express. I LOVED the name of the original program, and I have no idea why Adobe changed it.

But in AE, it is almost too easy to edit and apply effects to your creation. I have not used it yet to create a safety presentation (such as Google Slides or the more popular MS PowerPoint), but your options are almost limitless.

You can also upload your video content to make your graphics pop even more (for either web sharing or creating videos).
The Adobe Express Creative Cloud (premium) version is all you need. But even the free version is so much easier to edit than in Canva. Canva is cool for certain projects that don't need too much editing (editing in Canva can cause migraines).

But, almost no matter what I think up to create, I will almost always open up AE rather than struggling through the learning curve in Canva.

I needed to create quarterly safety training posters. In the past, I have used Canva. But in Canva's free version, your options are limited. So off to AE I went. I was able to find four templates to help me create my four posters.

I found templates that looked like a movie poster, and the results were so professional looking. It was easy to add my own pictures from my computer to further personalize the posters. I loved them so much I made them into movie poster size printouts, sprayed some liquid glue on a styroboard, and hung them up around our offices. Our employees loved them too, and it drummed up more people to attend my sessions.
