Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Express

We need to produce a wide range of visuals, and Adobe Express is a tool we appreciate because it is fast and offers a wealth of resources and templates. There are tasks that can be completed without a graphic designer, such as removing backgrounds. So, at least for the easy tasks, it's a handy tool without barriers (easy to start working right away).

Pros

  • Removing backgrounds for website graphics.
  • Templates for good design.
  • Premium offers videos that we use in our IG reels.

Cons

  • Organisation of files (sometimes I have trouble finding stuff: not sure what is a personal account within our business account).
  • Finding invoices? Horribly difficult.
  • Mobile app should be as smooth as - CapCut.
  • Some workflows are faster.
  • With Adobe Express, we have some very good resources for simple graphic design.
  • It supports teamwork.
I can find just about anything I need in Adobe Express. I am delighted with the videos, which came as a surprise. I am confident that I will always find all the necessary elements for my design. That is probably the most important reason I still use Adobe Express. Good library of photos and other elements, easily searchable, too.
There are processes that I don't find intuitive when editing an image. Maybe the experience between a browser and a phone is not always the same. That sometimes takes time to figure things out.
I use resizing very often, we have some outputs standardized for online, and that works well. No complaints here. The fact that I also have templates for frequent formats (social media, for example) helps a lot. It helps get the job done faster. I am also able to do most designs on mobile. That's a huge plus.
I haven't used Canva in a long time, but some of my colleagues still do.

It is best suited for creating powerful visuals or for simple and fast tasks such as removing background (We used to send all these tasks to a graphic designer; now they can focus on other tasks). It bothers me sometimes that not all fonts support special characters in Slovenian. I have also never managed to organize projects effectively in Express.
