Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Express

I use Adobe Express to help our branding across offices. We have created our brand on Adobe Express and it is so easy to help designers and non-designers stay on-brand. It also helps our creative team because we often have to resize things or work together when we are not in the same space, so Adobe Express makes it very easy where we can work on one project together simultaneously.

Pros

Cons

  • I'd like to be able to use clipping masks on Adobe Express
  • I wish there were visible guides and rulers you could use
  • Positive: Able to post on socials more often to engage with alumni
  • Positive: Able to save time on simple tasks and re-sizing and be more productive
I mostly like the templates on Adobe Express. I think that my style is different than some of the main templates, but I'm usually able to find something I can use to start me off. I began in Canva and sometimes prefer their templates, to be honest, but the Express templates are getting better and better.
I am able to create a brand with colors, fonts, logos, and brand voice and lock it so that it cannot be changed. I have a lot of non-creative people around me that need things, but I can't always get around to doing them. This way, they are in control and can do the things that they need to do and it frees me up to do other things.
The resize tool is a lifesaver, especially at a University. Most of the time, when I start a project, I don't have much information on all the places it is needed until the last minute. This way, I am able to resize and do it quickly. Without this feature, I'd lose a lot of time.

Adobe Express makes things that once took a long time take half the time or less. Where I'd use to have to animate in After Effects, I'm able to do simple animations in Express. Where I'd have to create files for non-designers, I can create templates and lock in colors and fonts that they can't change. They're still able to do their work, but they don't have to wait on me.
