Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Express

Cons

  • customized toolbar would be AWESOME
  • resizing could be better. I know it's better than it was, but i still have to edit it a lot
  • I have no idea, i'm just in communications
love so many options! even if i don't use the templates, I always browse them for inspiration. super helpful. also love the ability to use stock photos within Adobe Express and the design assets are SO great.
i've used it since 2022. I prefer it to Canva, which I was using. i've provided templates for my colleagues who are not designers and they can use it easily!
most of the time i can create super quickly, but sometimes the resizing is just...annoying. I don't think generative fill really works that well, and I wish it would resize the text and move assets in a more complete way.

Using Adobe Express

5 - i'm unsure what you mean by business functions. like what are their job titles? or what do they use adobe express for? they're basically all in communications or IT
1 - again, what do you mean by this question? like, in-house adobe express 'experts' who help other people in our org use express? if so, just me.

  • i used it for a short form video even though it would've been easier to do in premiere or after effects, but my computer wasn't happy so i utilized express for it. it took longer and was annoying, but i made it happen
  • templates/branding in projects so more people in our org can use express
  • at my last job, i utilized the schedule to social media. i loved it, but we use hubspot at my current job.
  • maybe short form video if i can edit more precisely
  • presentations perhaps, although people are familiar with powerpoint and they probably won't want to switch
  • maybe i can convince them to switch to scheduling social posts through AE but i doubt that, too
i love express!!! i use it every day and will continue to use it even if my job doesn't pay for it, although i hope i never have to pay for it haha. even though the updates are sometimes frustrating, i think for the most part i get used to/like the updates. it's easy to use and i like the change to projects instead of sharing a brand with collaborators.
