Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly

Our team utilizes Adobe Firefly when we find ourselves in a position to create unique and creative imagery here we can't either find the specific imagery necessary, or aren't able to license it. The scope of our projects are wide ranging and as such need a program that is responsive and adaptable that allows us to make more interesting and creative assets.

Cons

  • More precision in image generation
  • More expansive imagery referencing
  • Better vector options
  • More ability to create imagery
  • Questions around value based off of credits used
  • More need for better vector imagery creation that's editable
As a tool it functions well for most use cases, but more variety and integration is always a benefit.
From an image generation perspective, Adobe Firefly probably has the edge when it comes to ethical creation and sourcing, while GPT has a little more of the edge when it comes to final product.

We have had multiple times where a requester will ask for something very out of the box and unique and we can't find an image that fits. Most recently we had an ask for us to create an image for a flying lasagna in space. In order to accommodate we had to utilize Adobe Firefly which helped us bridge he gap between idea and execution.
