Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Learning Manager

We use Adobe Learning Manager for internal and external software education, employee professional development and compliance.

Pros

  • Updating of modules is well thought out and seamless.
  • User interface is readily easy to navigate (intuitive).
  • User set up and security is robust enough to assure people have the access they need and nothing more.

Cons

  • The UX is a bit dated.
  • The back end needs more tools for authors and admins when you have thousands of courses.
  • Filtering ability after search needs more options.
  • Need to be able to exempt certain content from reporting for HIPPA compliance.
  • Compliance is much easier within Adobe Learning Manager.
  • We monetize access to our customers.
  • Personal and professional development for our team members has been enhanced through the content portal offering.
The back-end functionality still needs some features. The user experience can lack compared to competitors' features. It does the job, but I would equate it to a family sedan; it gets you there, but not necessarily in style in my opinion.
We don't use any integration except the Go1 content provider. Adobe Learning Manager has been mostly seamless, but there are features that are still badly needed in that experience for users and admins.
