Photoshop is used for image editing and incorporating illustrations for learning solutions. Many of the editing tasks require image 'clean-up' such as removing objects and people, color correction, and brightness. Once the image has been touched up, then there is often the inclusion of illustrative features to make the images more compelling or a manner of including text.
- Object or person removal.
- Image touch up.
- Easy to learn.
- Finding options in the different window elements.
- Explaining why options/filters are not available such as requiring a flattened layer.
- Easier iteration when removing an object. If the removal isn't great, the next iteration doesn't always recognize what was required to remove.
