Photoshop is an Incredibly Affordable and Well-Rounded Photo-Editing and Manipulation Software
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe PhotoShop
I work in the marketing department of my organization. We use Photoshop in our team to support the communication efforts in our community. I personally use it as the video producer, and several other team members use it including our graphic designer and our art director.
Pros
- Quick edits
- Multi-layered edits with multiple assets
- Resizing assets for web
- Composite images
Cons
- Image compression
- Magnetic Lasso
- Vector editing
- Layers
- Compression
- Adjustment Layers
- Our website runs much more quickly thanks to image compression
- My job is more streamlined having this tool available while producing videos
- Photo adjustments and manipulation is incredibly easy and workload is reduced
- Very affordable as part of the Creative Cloud bundle
Photoshop is the premiere (no pun intended) photo-editing and manipulation tool on the market. There is no equal to its ease-of-use, robust capabilities, and affordability. It's a much more cumbersome and clunky experience using alternative software. The other software adds more time to my efforts and the capabilities are not nearly as mature as they are in Photoshop.
