we use alphasense to find and create insights around our equity research product offering . For example, discovering thematics or identifying trends within research

- consistent and accurate smart search functionality
Cons
- including other types of content besides text documents
- more suggestive searches
- better interconnectivity with our internal systems & product
- helps us to track whether we are publishing enough on certain types of content
- helps us to cross examine i.e references to ESG within sector reports
- helps us to build bespoke solutions / products for clients who have specific interests
my team have not used alphasense for external sources but instead solely for our own internal content that is produced
i have not explored competitors, only our own internal systems
