Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense
Use of AlphaSense to monitor capital markets, competition & business development opportunities. It is also very helpful in market research and finding relevant information across basically all parts of our business.
It's great to be able to create searches and have updates sent automatically on a regular basis, thus not missing any intel that could be crucial.

Pros
- Competitive intelligence searches.
- Market research.
- Monitor capital markets.
- Sell-side research.
Cons
- Ability to export bigger searches.
- Coverage of more research institutions (especially local ones).
- Ability to more accurately find market reports when this feature is used (often a bit inaccurate and includes other results as well).
- Finding new ideas for potential collaborations.
- Great strategic insights.
- New data and analysis on competitors.
- Efficiency in monitoring news flow.
AlphaSense has helped us to be more aware of valuable market intelligence by enabling us to set up relevant searches that capture almost all relevant newsflow since the included sources are so comprehensive and industry-specific. Not only does it capture newsflow, but also commentary from analysts and industry leaders, which is of great use.
It's a totally different tool vs financial terminals etc, much more focused on generation intelligence vs just monitoring capital markets. If you are looking for financial data AlphaSense is not your option, but for market/competitive intelligence, it's fantastic.
